Maria Andrea was born in Mexico City, she started singing at age 9, and later attended Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza de Monterrey, in Monterrey N.L. To study classical singing, while pursuing an Engineering career at the same time. She was a contestant in the first season of "La voz...México", Mexican edition of "The Voice". Afterwards she was offered a position in CEA, Televisa's acting school. She's a singer, producer, actress, who works in theater, musical theater, and as a collaborator for numerous original TV and movie scores.
