A word of advice to anybody with one of these power supplies with the "ribboned" style cables that are bulky, tight and hard to work with....If you take the time to carefully split each individual cable apart from each other and then use something like a couple pieces of velcro tape or zip ties to tidy the strands back together, they become INCREDIBLY easy to work with at that point and makes cable management an absolute breeze!.

The H20 has the definite advantage of having the motherrboard facing to the right with the GPU facing left, unlike every other sandwich-style case that I've looked at though, unfortunately, no glass panel to really show the board off. Win some, lose some. The NR200 (and the Q58 to a lesser extempt) are almost as big as the mATX case I just built in, which sort of defeats what I consider the SFF aspect of an ITX build.

@@mardarie just remember it is a SFF case so what would be “high” or unacceptable in a “normal” case is “normal” or sometimes “good” in a SFF. My 5950 going full tilt with all cores at 100% at 4500mhz while the gpu is at 100% will result in temps at 80c on the cpu and about 65 on the gpu. This is a worst case scenario as rarely are they both maxed out at the same time for extended periods of time. This is with an ambient room temp of 26c and the fans at 100%. Since I game in VR with headphones on the noise isn’t an issue for me. Some may not like it though. I also have a fan curve setup so that for most of the time the fans are at 1300 until 70c. If I run at “stock” without pbo2 pushing the cores so high on clock speeds it runs very quiet and about 65c.

Still like my A4 (even though there's actually no mobo or GPU in it right now...), small enough to bring in a camera bag as a personal item on a plane along w/ peripherals, and I still fit a 120mm AIO plus a 2070 back when it was assembled. There's plenty of small GPUs that can fit in it along with an AIO in the GPU chamber to really go for good cooling.
But if you want a full-length GPU and good CPU cooling, yeah, you do need a bit more space, and that's where this comes in, and looks good doing it. Though for my main rig, I gave up and went big, both maintenance and cooling just became too problematic to keep my main system as SFF.

I have an interesting idea for a v2 of this case. Make it where you can move the motherboard tray back 1 slot for 2 slot GPUs instead of having offset screws for the PCIe adapter. Moving back the motherboard 1 slot will allow for larger CPU air coolers. This would probably mean that the power cable would need to go in under the GPU instead of above it in the back.

This is a decent mid-tower replacement, but I agree with your comments about the taller form factors being better.
The shorter size does not give much more desk space because it is not short enough to place things on top of. It being very narrow would allow it to sit next to your table legs on the floor without blocking your feet. Or, you'd barely notice it on the side of the desk.

But like I said it depends on what you want in a case

Not really. Depends on your needs and budget. My PC is a dedicated game console. I only need once PCIE for my graphics card, 2 slots for drives (buy 2x 4TB), 2 slots for ram 2x 32GB sticks. There are no compromises except needing more expensive components at the start.
I don't even know what I'd do with an additional PCIE slot or more drive slots. My entire steam library fits on 4TB.

Does the Strix 3090 fit? I need to know! Seriously considering this case, but if my card won’t fit, I’m going with the new NZXT H1.

Would love to go with a case like this, but my computer sits below my desk and I have slightly under 11 inches to put a case under the desk. That leaves me with a Sugo 15 as I want a USB-C port on the front. I was considering the Lian Li Q58 based on its external dimensions until I found out it didn't include the feet, which are necessary. With the feet it didn't work. The DAN A4-H2O might have worked but without one to see or purchase I couldn't commit to it . The NCASE M1 would work, but I refuse to pay close to $400 Cdn (includes shipping and duties) for a case. The Sugo 15 is relatively easy to work with and no riser card is needed. Not the prettiest solution, but a feasible solution. Older similar cases have become limiting with no USB-C front inputs and no support for up to 3 slot graphics cards. Plus this case also allows for big air coolers with fans so I'm no limited to AIOs.

You could try a vertical case like the SSUPD Meshlicious, which also doesn't cost that much. It even supports a 280mm radiator at 14L.

Starting to think these fans push no air. I put my hand in front a barley feel it. IDK maybe it does things after all.
You think a fan from a walmart for a cool day will be better. atleast i feel that.

Replying a year late but yes I just ordered this case for that exact reason. No branding and a simple clean design. I don't want to draw attention to my PC with a flashy case or RGB, I just want it to work as it should.

Maybe 3D print some legs for the back side and put it up vertically with L style power and display cables?
Would be interesting to see if the ventilation is still good enough or heat is pooling on the non mesh front plate.
