Such an incredible song! I love it! It needs to be resurrected in this big band style!

Man, I love Judy Canova. Her radio shows were some of the true classics of the golden age of radio. Great writing, fantastic voice talents (Mel Blanc, Hans Conried, et al), and Judy's great singing and comedic timing.

I remember when I was about 5 years old Judy would make me raisin toast with real butter. We only had margarine in our house. My sister and I would play make believe theater with Didi. We lived in the same apartment building.

Thanks for the post. My mother and Judy were third cousins. Now I get to see what Mom was talking about when I was a kid.

I'm a Canobra, but back in 1848 we were Canova. For that, Judy and I are kin.

Great movie if you get a chance to watch it. A young Susan Hayward is in it as well.

It’s called Sis Hopkins. This is one of my favorite songs from it. In the film, Judy teaches some snooty college comrades lessons about life. Funny and touching - a wonderful movie!
