Couple of observations on this video: 1) imagine the people who came in to do 20 minutes on the elliptical and got this grit-show; and 2) de-gloving your palms and keep grinding for another 300 reps is a reminder that mental is everything. Great content. My back hurts, yet I’m going to slug 18 miles in the heat after watching this. Thanks, boys.

As a Navy Diver that swinging stuff wouldn’t fly. I loved doing pull ups and push ups but 600 pull ups in one hour, guess that’s why I was a Navy Diver and not a Seal. Awesome job guys.
The Murph Challenge seems like a natural choice for a competition. I’m still laughing about the Redneck Triathlon video. That was magic content. Thanks guys!
I usually do 2 - 3 reps at a time, keep the lactic acid at bay. I can barely keep up with these guys, but this is inspiration to reach my goal of 30 in my work out. Great show of grit between these two guys.
@@micahbodha6129 Well, he did say start and end with a DEAD hang which he’s NOT doing. So that comment has validity to it. Nonetheless, it’s still difficult to do any pull up for an hour whether they’re strict or with a Kip.
@@micahbodha6129 It's just a fact. Do you think he could do those "pull ups" during a BUDs screening test and they would be counted? Absolutely not. Go watch Goggins- he does not kip. All his pull ups are dead hang with great form
so guess you dont know pull ups yes the swinging as you call is allowed when doing these types of challenges id like to see you do more then 100 in a hour regular pull ups

Hope both of your hands heal quickly and that you guys are in not too much pain the day after the pull-up challenge. Both Chadd and Chili are motivating me to get back into shape.
I’m still looking for a solid pull up bar for home as I’m 6’4. Currently daily PT is 450 push-ups, 800 laterals, 200 squats with one rest day per 10-14days. Thinking of adding running or jogging.
I asked Rudy Reyes what was the most number of pullups he was doing at his peak, he said 300 in a session and that it was a bad idea, hard on the shoulders. So 600.....yeah, that's crazy.
That was really crazy to see how fast the hands went bad aye. Have you guys tried those CrossFit hand grips? I’m interested to hear if they would have stopped the hands going bad so fast. Love your work guys!

Chad- you are walking around drenched, ripped off callouses, arms raised between sets and NOT A PEEP!!!!!! That is a powerful sight for me. No whining, no moaning , in the game the whole way-
I'm guessing if you can excel through the year long SEAL training program, not quit or get dropped for injury, then you have the mental fortitude to do a one hour pull up challenge.

You can use a weak bar, long as you do the handstand style push ups.
Install bar approx. 1 ft off floor or its hard on the head doin them.

My personal best in an 8 hour period was 1,000 pushups, 400 dips and 200 pullups. That was a pretty solid day.
Did you do them randomly or with a pace??
