  • In the Y-Maze test arm visit triplets (triads) are scored and analyzed to estimate an animal's cognitive performance, motivation or impairment. The video explains a bit of the expected behavior and how deviation from expected patterns are scored and evaluated.
    You can see that analysis happens in real time and results are at hand a second after the experiment. What you don't see is the softwar's ability to issue group statistics. The Y Maze test delivers expressive results, if you compare group performances.
