Watching this has solidified that Kirk is probably my favourite guitarist ever. His tone is just NASTY and his style is such a smooth fusion of doom/hardcore/classic metal/thrash/ and I hear some other things going on that I can’t describe other than that New Orleans sludge sound…
@@fiercestcalmivebeenin9937, yeah man. What amazes me about him is his combination of absolutlely skull-crushing power but also grace. He weaves in and out of both seamlessly and I’m always left wondering how he pulls it off. I’ve been metal drumming for 24 years. I got all the Pantera stuff and death metal stuff figured out, but anytime I try to work in the style of my favorite drummer (louisiana lightning), I always fall a little short. Craig wasn’t the fastest nor the most technical, but his ability to do simple things in a way that I’ve never thought of and in a way that only sounds right if he does it just blows me away. Favorite drummer by a mile.

Was that previous sound check for This Show? I guess, this is what happens when "Channel 15" on the Guitar (Sound Board) don't work. The Bass & Drums Drowns out both guitars & the P.A.. Didn't see/hear the whole show -tho.
Kirk is a genius and nunenmacher is a gift. I think the slugs/crowbar reached a new level when nunenmacher joined the band.
It's like you're looking through some time warp back to a cooler time.
CRAIG IS THE BEST DRUMMER TO JAM WITH CROWBAR MOST ORIGINAL TIGHT IN THE POCKET AND SOLID AND HEAVY AS FUCK
nice to see some Crowbar with Craig behind the kit
It's a pleasure to listen to Nunenmacher playing live, he is so tight and loose at the same time, I love his style: articulated and syncopated.
@@chusmaestro Too bad he quit playing drums.

Kirk playing Carnivore during soundcheck,awesome!
Awesome
"Nunenmacher" ... The most unorthodox, Solid dude. In the Pocket. God Damn
One of the best and most unique drummers in metal history in my opinion
Yes the best ever wish he would go back to crowbar
@@andrew_mcnevin Undoubtedly, Agreed. I have two brothers in a band called "Mushroomhead", I played 20 yrs, and have always given him the title.
