Synopsis: Everyone falls in love with someone...somehow. One of Indian cinema's biggest hits, Maine Pyar Kiya is the call of two young hearts smitten with love! Prem (Salman Khan) is the son of a multimillionaire, Kishen (Rajiv Verma) and Suman (Bhagyashree) is the daughter of an ordinary motor mechanic, Karan (Alok Nath). When fate brings them together, there develops a mutual liking which soon blossoms into love. Prem and Suman sing and dance, as they dream of a beautiful tomorrow. The dreams seem to be soon turning into reality; Prem's mother is happy to accept Suman as her prospective daughter-in-law. But Kishen, who only knows the language of money, not only injures the loving hearts, but also insults Karan, his childhood friend.

Dislike people who criticise these classics & Sooraj Barjatya’s movies naming them cheesy or sugary sweet etc. Whatever it is, these films had soul and made you believe in true love unlike films these days. I’d rather watch these movies 100 times over than watching any of the films being made today.
So thankful for the invention of the internet and RUclips that has allowed millions to be able to access these classics easily.

True love between two pure hearted people. After watching this movie so many times (I think 100+ times by now) I realized a small detail I missed all these years! Before they married, they only kissed with the glass door between them. After they married, the glass door was opened and they kissed. 🥰

I watched this movie with my family at the age of 4 but still remember the vivid memory of watching it on big screen. Such a magic this movie was. It's the Suraj Barjatya's show from start to finish. No actors could have done justice to Prem & Suman other than Salman Khan and Bhagyashree. Maine Pyar Kiya, its characters and it's music are eternal and will never get old ✨ PREM ❤️ SUMAN are the Most loved characters of the Indian Cinema.
