And 4th, scouts analyze a player’s potential. Not where they are right now. That’s why seniors rarely get picked in the lottery, and freshman make up the majority of the lottery.

This is the problem with the league right now. They draft based on potential, not on current skill level. There’s a bunch of one and dones in the G League because of this.
