@@bennyhundo9131 uhhhh two totally different countries that aren't even next to each other. That's like asking what's the difference between the US and UK.
If many of y’all if you went it into a Puerto Rican or Dominican restaurant playing Salsa or Merengue music, you wouldn’t know the difference, unless they had flags up. Why? That’s not your culture. Same way an Hispanic probably couldn’t distinguish Caribbean food from different countries or soul food from different parts of the Black South. Or certain dishes from different countries in Africa. She’s not Jamaican or Trini and they had all the Caribbean flags hanging. To keep it a buck, if their not East Indian looking and Black trinis, many non-Jamaicans could walk in and not be able to delineate. Just like Blacks from the South can tell the different accents better than us Northerners. Aside from Louisiana and Texas, the rest I can’t really distinguish.

Grandma and Cousin's lived in Flatbush, East 91St & Rutland Road, I live in Queens with my father but spent a lot of time in Flatbush on the weekends and summer months. Brooklyn is my favorite part of the NYC, and your right, you can feel the difference going to from the boroughs. I've been living in California for over 30 years now and there's a drastic difference from NYC, California does not have boroughs within its cities, so when you hear about cities like L.A., Long Beach, Anaheim, Santa Monica, and Irvine, these are other cities in close proximity to L.A, Same as with Long Islands: Valley Streams, Hempstead, Freeport and Great Neck, these are area's in close proximity to NYC, But are actually different cities. Some visitors to New York may believe it's part of the municipality of New York city, because there so close together, but there not. Same with L.A and its surrounding cities
