In our Bengal blowing conch shell in Bengali Hindu family in every evening is a daily routine. Being a Muslim, still I love the sound come from nearby village.. when the light of the sun gradually fades, the birds come back to the nest, the sky becomes darkish blue and few stars twinkle and that sound of conch shell coming from the distance... The whole atmosphere becomes so calm,so pleasent..
I am a Bengali guy. We usually get it very frequently at my hometown from almost every home two times i.e. in morning and in evening. Since last 7 years I have been at NCR where I have never listened or have seen anyone using shankh. I miss it a lot.

Wow..What a coincidence.. I do this almost everyday as part of a prayer ritual, and today right after I blew the conch shell in the evening, I saw this video and got to know of so many health benefits related to the exercise of blowing conch shell. I knew some of them if not all. Thank you.
After the incident of RG kar medical college, there was lot of protests throughout Bengal. But I couldn't attend any of those protests. My mom used to suggest that while doing puja, I should blow the conch but I've never showed any interest. But now on 14th August, when my city is protesting for justice, I'm here, learning how to blow the conch. And I truly believe that we shall overcome 🤍

Wish you a very happy new year too💐🎇🎆🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊Mam I am a bengali and we used to blow shankh everyday during puja, I blow the shankh both the time in the morning and in the evening during puja, some blow only in the evening, in West Bengal during the evening time all the people use to blow the shankh, so one can hear the conch sound from each and every house.... Blowing conch is very auspicious to us, so we blow shankh in wedding, rice ceremony (annaprasan), baby shower(sadh), in all sorts of Pujas, and in lots of festivals, I just want to say that to us shankh bajana subh mana jata hain.... Jai Shree Krishna aapne video me jo 2 shankh bataye wo to humare pas nai hai and mai it a shankh k bare me janti bhi nai hu but Jagannath ji k Darshan k liye Gaye the waha beach se shankh liya and unhone bola k ye panchmukhi shankh hai aap ye le jayiye. As you said k thyroid glance me helpkarta hai then it will give me benefit and my son is a adenoid patient it will help him too. But aapke bataye dono shankh me se koi shankh nai hai ye wala to it will help or not.
