Changing lead singers is always a difficult transition especially when you have such iconic songs like this one. I mean look at what happened with Black Sabbath after Ozzy left, I mean they had Dio but lets be honest replacing Ozzy was an impossible task. you could also compare quiet riot after Kevin Dubrow's death. Just never the same. doesn't mean its bad but it'll always be held to a higher standard than they are capable of meeting.

Maybe not this song, but there are songs, that he will manage better, than Adam ever could (personally I like High Road and Let you down more when he sings it). Tl;DR: It‘s time to move on, boys. Adam created something wonderful, binding many people from all around the globe, but Matt knows what he‘s doing. Cut him some slack and acknowledge, that he‘s the tie that binds now.
I am not going to lie I like Matt's songs as much as I like Adams that being Adam did his stuff way better because there was emotion to it and that's what I liked they each have their own style and that's ok with me.
Michael Brooks Adam struggled live for a while but if you can find it (most of it was removed from RUclips) the footage of Three Dayd grace live at the Palace in 2008 is imo Adam's best live vocal performance it's really good

Can you please explain why you chose the Matt Walst re-recording of Animal I Have Become for the first song? Adam is the one who wrote that song, and Matt’s voice doesn’t do it any justice. Most true Three Days Grace fans know that Matt can’t hold a candle to Adam.
I'm a big fan of Adams voice, but this is decent. It just lacks that something that Adams voice lacks... there's a tonality to his voice that not many people have, and Matts voice is thin in comparison.
