Just a comment on pseudopanax arboreus which you called half-hardy. I’ve had one in my yorkshire garden for over 5 years and it’s very tall now and never had to protect it ;) the worst thing is that snow makes its branches bend and snap

Im nowhere near Dorset and probably a good thing as i would end up coming back with one of everything 😂 some really cool plants in this video hopefully the more special colocasia there are out there the more readily available they will become and more affordable.will be interesting to see how hardy they are too.
Thanks Danny :) The new Colocasia are protected so cannot be propagated legally without paying breeders rights. Sensible really, the breeders do so much work!

I think where bananas are concerned seed freshness is key! The annoying part is waiting months for germination to take place only to find you have a duff batch!

Hello, what is your sucess rate germinating Musa seeds ?
Hi, it varies a lot each time. Best was 100% on Musa cheesemanii, about 70% on Musa sikkimensis and more often than not 0%.

I will have a card machine but the Internet connection is notoriously unreliable there, bring money too just incase. 👍😀
