About a year and a half ago I made a choice to choose to do something greater than continuing the path I was on every turn I took though seemed to be more impassible than the last, my best friend played me this song one night in my hardest times the loss of my son and my a friend of more than 15 years everything I was struggling with was things normal people handle yes hard but they handle it wasn’t until I really sat listening to the word to the song that i realized that I had already gone so far and to turn back was more hazardous than good I was at my lowest of lows in life fighting to get back up and I had to just trust that even though I was broken down I had to trust god to bring me through it and know that the plan he had and still has was worth it. I hear this song now and I know broken down beaten and wanting to give up is where I was now I hold faith in life that god will help me through the hardest of moments and I just have to trust because if not I stay stuck. I as well am coming up on 15 MONTHS completely clean from a IV heroin addiction I've battled for 13 years. This is my longest stretch of recovery I've ever had an I started trying to get clean 8 years ago. An like you THIS SONG right here has been on my daily playlist.
