Man bun distance runners are dangerous. Remember that.
Nice run - congrats!
This race needed someone to take it out early.
56 last lap 🔥
Good job Emmanuel!
Great job “Galdiano”!😂
I noticed the 8:14 board that means it’s late at evening and night time
ohio 1600 405 time need film
Admittedly, I skipped till the end, but was the commentator also fatigued by then?
About a 57 last lap, crazy close!
@Baum Squad that aint slow. this is high school, these are solid times!!
@Baum Squad whats a good time for state?
@Baum Squad The only state thats going to consistently hit 4:05 at states is Cali.
I just raced in divisionals ( state qualifier) this weekend for the 1600 in montana, and the dude that won it is named ignatius Fitzgerald ran a 4:15, and he probably might run under that next week for state. It was a wild race for sure. I got a 4:54😂😂💀
even if you didnt win, a 4:54 is insane. ik this is 11 months ago, have u improved your time?
@@theguythatlikestoaskquesti9583 it’s really not that fast for a high school runner
4:54 wouldn’t even get you passed sub districts. In my sub districts you need to run 4:30 or faster to qualify(usually my team sweeps the league though💀) and districts you need to be 4:20 or faster so 4:54 is meh
@@ryanlewis9416 I run 5:36 and it’s my hardest and you said that’s meh damn I don’t known what to do at this point
@@superdan78get better?
Nice to see the race but the description should include the date. This was two weeks ago.
It should also say, "Boring mile finish with absolutely ZERO excitement."
@@thomasmckenzie4584 slow person energy
unreal how this man doubled up 32 and 16
ik it’s 6A but guy named william boyce won the 32 16 and 800 in 2021 in 3A and did so wearing sunglasses and looking like he barely tried
I'm a freshman and I run a 5:15 rn. I'm gonna try and break 5 during track season.
Did you break it? I'm currently nearing the end of my track season I'm in 8th grade and my hest rn is a 5:12 mile
The last 1/4 in 56 seconds! That is a 3:44 mile pace!
Jesus loves you!
Ok Ron Weasley
@@TheHippo lollll
Way to represent and pull through Taj! You’re tough as nails 💪🏽
He won a couple of state championships for AHMO!
Dragonfly’s and Victory Zoom Air’s seem to be the dominant shoes for mid distance right now!
yeah even a year later its the only 2 spikes Im seeing at meets rn
Why the crap are the commentators whispering throughout the race, this why sometimes distance running gets a bad rep
Ba-bleepin-loney! IF distance running sometimes gets a bad rep, it damn sure AIN'T because the commentators are whispering.
@@leonbrown3908 these guys sucked at commentating
go Strake Jesuit!!!
Alfredo?
Juiced to the gills.
I hate it when people run ‘strategic races’ just to win. Like i get the point, but at the same time, the whole reason that running is so different from other sports is you get to show up and just kill yourself and the most pain wins. This just defeats the purpose if you save yourself so you can walk away with a medal
Announcers were confused the whole time
This says heat 1 and it looks like a heat race not going all out so I don't think this is for the title.
I ran a 4:18.12 in the 1600 in high school.
Takes the water. Dumps it out 1 second later.
Let’s go Taj!!
No one does high school sports like Texas.
@@thea.x.missile2221 Nah this is high school.
These times are pretty soft by California standards
you must’ve not watched the race
Alfredo Reina Corona😂😂😂 #Covid

Sticking your arm out to try to block the guy isn't going to work, kid. Try more speed instead.
Am a kid am 10 and I got 1.59 seconds am an I Athletic girl
the 800 world record for females is 1:53 so no
The winner must improve the running position, but certainly has a great physical condition.
Need to run this where the final two or three each lap have to drop out. Give these guys some incentive.
no

Called an elimination mile. They happen sometimes in random televised meets
I ran in one of these last week in the mile , after 800 someone got eliminated and also after 1200. Everyone was so afraid of getting eliminated that we went through 800 in 2:00, then I finished with a time of 4:13. First time an elimination mile has happened in the uk
bruh it's a state meet it doesn't work like that
