@AR FIX IT thanks ill look it up later this week. Still not getting power to the chipset, i think the previous tech removed a bunch of components looking to clear the short before realizing it was the pch...

What if we don't have an original BIOS?
Then we need to find a suitable and compatible dump in the net, then after that we need to check the latest update from the official site,.. if its a full BIOS image and if its a partial image only,.. because sometimes in BIOS update you either you will get a full image file or just partial image file,.. if its partial then you need to stich the dump in order to make a full BIOS image and flash it into your BIOS SPI chip :)

yes, pwedeng pwede po..as long as intact pa ung file..well,even na hindi na sya intact pwede namn po tayo kumuha ng ibang BIOS dump then stich lang natin sa original dump..
