People/the press rag on the CVT all the time, I think repeating what they've read elsewhere. We have 80k miles on our 2019 QX50 and it has performed flawlessly; with one regular maintenance on the CVT at the recommended 60k interval (~$500, if I remember correctly?). This vehicle is EXTREMELY quick with the twin turbo, and fun to drive w paddle shifters and great torque. ...i checked this video out because considering trading ours in for another new one (maybe the 55)

I didn’t talk bad about the qx50 but I wouldn’t buy another cvt. I had 2 qx60 with them and service was every 30k and 300ish each time. My new qx60 has a normal transmission whoch is less on maintenance and to repair. If the cvt goes bad it’s around 6k, my last qx had 175k but I asked the price and that was when I dropped it. The vehicle was only worth 7k we paid 60k which is normal but no way I would drop that money for another cvt so I traded for the new qx even though I didn’t have a cvt problem.

You and your son are too cute! But seriously I have always loved the Infiniti brand especially the Q60 which I am still contemplating buying. I agree with your son that the CVT transmission makes me nervous. Love your content!

Loved this review with Isa. I look forward to seeing more like this one. ❤👍 Will Yusef be in any upcoming Mercedes Benz reviews?

Thank you Shawn. He didn’t get to come this last time but I will have him in the Livestream this Saturday and I will bring him to some reviews again. I’m trying to take Isa with me to Land Rover next week just getting the confirmation from my team.

Great review Anthony and Isa. I really liked this suv but that engine/transmission sound would take some getting used to..at least for me. Overall though you do get a lot for your $$. 85 here now and was a chilly 39 last night
You are having some great weather as well which is so nice. I forgot to ask about the remodel but it sounds like it's coming along...well at least the kitchen. I know that it will be so nice to cook again. Power is out here and that makes me realize how much life is centered around it 😂 hope all is well and happy Thurs Anthony

Thank you James. We had a lot of fun, he wanted me to change some style with Jordan shoes lol. It’s a good value vehicle and luxurious but a little too small for me.
Yeah the weather has been good for both of us finally lol. I’m looking forward to the weekend and catching up on the livestream Saturday. Oh and the big fight on Friday, I hate to say I’ll get pizza after 3-4 weeks of eating it lol so hopefully the kitchen will be done so I can cook something.
Not having power isn’t easy as we are so used to it but when the weather is nice it’s cool to enjoy the quietness. Hopefully the remodel will be done in a week or two but it’s been 6 months of saying this.
      Happy Thursday James

Yes, the engine sound is louder and different than I would expect. But, our 2019 now with 80k miles had performed flawlessly. Fun and easy to drive. Steering is effortless, and there are multiple modes and settings you can configure.

Hey Anthony, I stand by my 2017 Gx50 with the 6 cylinder that throws out 325 HP...love my Infiniti but I'd never get any of them with a 4/twin turbo CBT transmission...ykwim...I agree with your son Isa, for sure....than top this off with a $65,000 price tag...doesn't work & doesn't perform at a $65,000 level😢 absolutely understand this being the last year for the GX50
