Quique Somenzini has done it again! Outstanding flying as always, second to none. Awesome awesome plane. Love the looks and that it's a 170 with a rounded vertical fin, and not the ubiquitous 182. Thanks for coming out with this plane.

So I am new to the Hobby and considering this plane since my Apprentice 15S flew off into the sunset on Monday. I have Spektrum radios and wondered if using a RX with the SAFE technology would counter act or interfer with the system that comes on the Flex 170? Last question is this a plane a beginner should even consider? I have a whole 12 take offs and landings under my belt. Thank you
Hi Gene,
The Cessna 170 is a great second airplane, but you need to be comfortable making take offs and landings with your first before moving to the Cessna.
The SAFE receiver will definitely interfere with the Aura, you would want to use something like the AR8010T from Spektrum, or 2 x SPM9645.
