I got into bayside in 2007 and I didn’t start listening to this song till 2012. I wish they would play this song in 2024 but I know they won’t because it talks about cutting yourself and popping pills😢
Omg I haven’t heard this since we recorded it. This was the B. Ware sessions we did in S.C. in 2001/2002. Dude where did you get this? We did 3 or 4 songs if I remember right. Fun times!
Thx for commenting man! This was my favorite era of the band, i happened to find this on slsk. Interesting that Count the score and All alright never got an album release. Long stories short is still my fave album : )
@@j.c.higginbotham6401 rad! That was my favorite era of the scene :) They asked me to play drums for them right after long stories was recorded lol. I added my own style to them live…they were fun to play!
hmm i dont have that in the tracks for either the 2000 or 2002 demos. there was a smaller punk band also named bayside active during same time that release the cd 'see you in october'. dont have their materials but could possibly have been them?
@@j.c.higginbotham6401 Well, I don't know for sure since I haven't heard it but discography and such say it was part of a 2002 demo with a few other songs.
@@bapp2491 interesting, sorry i cant help you out bud. looking at discogs my demo tracklist is different than what they have. seems odd that synonym for acquiesce would be on 02 demo but not the 03 split..
Ahh that song was recorded in 2002…it was a fast punk song if I remember right. I’ll see if I can find the tracks from this demo. I recoded the drums on this demo and the other one so I have it somewhere lol. It was on RUclips years ago. Wonder why it’s gone.
You have absolutely no idea how many years i've been looking for this version, i love you!
Same here finally 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank u for this... This is the version I first heard and fell in love with Bayside

@@PhildoBaggins that was gonna be our single but I departed from the band before they signed to victory…maybe Tony Brummel didn’t like it?!?!
@@enzprintco.8625 Neat thanks for the insight

Thats sick man! You're Jason right? Who else did you play with besides Bayside?
@@j.c.higginbotham6401 hey dude! ^gmail. Hit me up there :)
Really cool. Love the screaming

Thanks for uploading this. Do you happen to have the song "they never should have made a third godfather"? Impossible to find it anywhere.
