I have been obsessively watching dollmaking (resin 3d printing and polymer clay dolls) for years now and I finally committed and bought a resin printer, pla printer and a sculpting kit. I am so happy i found your channel because you've inspired me to get started and have grace with myself while learning. Thank you for being you ❤
I think the eyebrows cat is the best looking cat. Actually it reminds me of a cat I animated once for a cutscene in a game called Boyfriend Dungeon. haha.
I played around with blender a lot as a kid I'm waiting to get a better computer before I get back into it I can't wait to see you incorporate 3d modeling and printing in your future projects your modeling looks really good so far
I tried Blender a bit, but to me Nomad Sculpt feels more intuitive and similar to real clay sculpting, and as a bonus I can sit comfortably on the couch while doing it lol! The 3d printing is gonna in come handy for sure! 😊
I love your videos and your little wizard critters! This cozy vlog style is great, I’m watching it in the background as I work on my own sculpture. I hope you make more of these!
I usually use the default 6b pencil for the lineart and the default gouache brush for colouring, then just plop on the colours roughly and clean up the shapes afterwards!
I've actually been wanting to do something similar since my dad got me a 3d printer for Christmas! I actually haven't seen any 3D modeling software for tablets before, and only have experience w doing it on computer. Would you recommend the software ur using? What kind of problems do you run into most when using it?
In comparison to a computer software (the only one I tried is blender), I'd say the app is not as powerful in terms of tools or effects/modifiers, but it's also not as complicated to learn. For a beginner like me that just wants to do more simple and casual designs, it's pretty great imo, but if your end goal is to create super complex and detailed models, I would probably stick with a computer software. I've not run into any major problems with the app, but it crashed maybe once or twice on me, so I try to save my progress often. One thing that's a bit annoying, is that before exporting your 3d model to an STL for printing, you have to scale it up like 500% or else the model will be like 0.5 cm. And I'm not sure if there's a way to input a precise height measurement for shapes, if so I haven't learned/found it yet lol. I'd recommend checking out Dave Reed channel's, he's got a ton of Nomad Sculpt tutorials, so you'll be able to get a better idea of how the app works and if its something you would like to try. :)
The 3D printing files of the designs I painted in this video are up for sale on my website: ✨www.wickelle.com✨
Let me know which cat is your favorite! 😻

I love all the cats but my favourite is the one with the eyebrows. You can’t make out whether he’s evil!thinkink,or just daydreaming lol🥰
He does have villainous vibes!
These look great! If i had a 3d printer i would totally buy the model or even a handmade one from you❤
I love "this" one :D
Glad you're getting into 3D modeling and printing!
It's so cool! I love it!

Glad to hear that! I think I'll keep this format for the 3d stuff, and keep the regular sculpting projects like I usually do :)
Omg could the winged character possibly be Howl??
How did you get that super cute soft look on your concept art in Procreate?
