Namaste mam.please help me.
Calculate the total no of possible tRNA required to recognize 6 Serine codons. UCU,UCC, UCA, UCG, AGU, AGC
Answer is 3 codons mam. Mujhe samaj me nehi aa raha hai.
This is the answer (UCU, UCC, UCA is recognized by tRNA containing inosine
UCG is recognized by tRNA containing cytosine
And
AGU, AGC is recognized by tRNA containing guanine)
But mam my doubt is If inosine is recognizing A, U, C. And the last nucleotide of codon containing A, U , C are
UCA, UCC, UCU, AGU, AGC
and cytosine of anticodon is recognizing guanine of codon. See here only 2 t RNA are used. 1 is containing inosine and other containing guanine. Then why AGU, AGC is recognized by tRNA containing anticodon G if already inosine is recognizing it?
