I just took my first exit HESI this monday and got a 722. We need a 850 to pass in our program in order to graduate. Our second attempt is April 26th! I'm super anxious but this made me feel a little better:) also congrats on passing your exam and graduating :)!!
Hi, I also failed my first exam and I'll be taking my second attempt on May 4th, I am wondering if the set of question is going to be different than the first take?
Congratulations this video made me feel so much better! I too have received a score in the 700s and completely down about it! I go for my exam next Wednesday! Praying for the best! Just need to score 880 or higher this time around
I finally pass my hesi exams after all the stress. I thank god for this great opportunity. 🎊🎊🎉🎉All my prayers to those struggling to pass through hesi cause it hasn’t been easy. I hope y’all make it some day too. Amen
Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal
Thanks to my friend that introduce me to her last week. Am happy the way she process her materials and how you will prepare yourself too for your coming exams. She gave me me a clue of how the exam might come up for me and how I need to study Incase I schedule my test any time
I’m currently using YBG and the evolve HESI book, thank you for the suggestion for the case studies. My school only lets us take it one time, so we have to pass it with at least a conversion average of 79
Congrats!!! I test in less than 2 weeks. Do you remember what you were scoring on your best grade? I’m stuck around like 55% or 690ish on your best grade. My best score has been in the 800s and that was only twice I was able to do that. We have to get a 925 to pass. Soo nervous ugh
Congratulations to you. I start on my fourth block in the fall and wanted strategies on improving my score. Thanks for sharing and paying it forward. Best to you in your career as a nurse. I can't wait to be where you're at.
Thank you for mentioning the adaptive quizzing. It’s not offered that I know of yet through my nursing program but I do know there will be HESI exit exam for the RN program and did find it for purchase through Elsevier for $119 for 36 months access. I love being able to test throughout the program so I can know what I need to work on before the exit exam and stay practicing at that until then. I also found the patient reviews and case studies for purchase as well from Elsevier and am so happy!!! Again thank you!!
You talk of case studies that you did. What were the called, I am trying to locate them. I would love to do walk through. Congrats on passing. I failed my first and take the 2nd In a week and half.
Yes! We had to buy a program that was owned by HESI called Evolve and we did them there. I believe you can buy it separately but I’m not 100% sure. And yes they are on quizlet if you look them up there!
Omg, Your success story gives me hope that I can pass it too. I have watched this video at least 4 times now. I have been doing a lot of yourbestgrade questions as you've recommended. I am taking my second attempt of hesi soon. if you don't mind, What were you getting on your best grade? like your percentage before your took your second attempt. Thank you!:)
Tiffany Hi! I did not. From my understanding there are different “versions” of the test. I think like 7. So I had a different version the second time. I know that the HESI questions are from a test bank so I don’t know if it’s possible to have repeat or not! But my second one was completely different, and honestly I think it was easier!
Hello I am taking the Hesi in a month. I saw in a previous comment that it was mostly Fundamentals type questions...just want to verify. I am currently doing questions on u world. Don't know if that's a good study tool for the Hesi. Please let me know. This is for everyone thanks.
Grateful Blessed Hi! I personally have not used Uworld but one of my nursing school friends is using that for the NCLEX and she likes it! Don’t get me wrong there is more than just fundamentals, but I felt like you could answer most of the questions by using what you learned in fundamentals to narrow it down. I would also be sure I know all my lab ranges as well!
Girl trust me I cried for days and thought my life was over when I failed, but just study hard and you’ll pass it next time!! Do y’all get another attempt??
@@DestinyPhillips Yes thankfully I have 2 more attempts!!! I started practicing with your best grade and the adaptive quizzing and it seems like I am getting more answers correct. Thank you for your video!!!!
I just passed my HESI with dramatic light speed all thanks to the help of Mr Adrian When I first heard of him I thought it was all a scam and by that time I never had much of a choice so I said to myself "what dose not kill me only makes me strong" He provided me with questions and answers after I paid him some money and believe it or leave it, they were the same question I met on the day of my exam. I heard of him after failing the exams twice. I can now boost of being a proud HESI call thanks to him. So I believe if you need assistance, he is the best person that can help you. You can get to him through Email: adrianpual6@gmail.com Or WhatsApp: +1(786)3221508 He has other options he helps people with like updating the scores from a fail to pass
I stayed in the range of about 60-70%. Which was disheartening but was always higher than the average. I read multiple people say that they were also averaging that as well and did way better on the HESI.
@Aaron Carl congrats to you! And thank you for the suggestion. But I ended up passing it on my third try. Passed the NCLEX first time at question 77. Replying from the ICU 😁😁
Y'all lucky... our program they want us to score 850 on all 25 categories such as fundamental, pharmacology, medsurge. So if you get over 1000 points overall but missed 1 or 2 categories they failed you 😭
Hey! I will say a large portion of the questions were under the "fundamentals" category. So the Nursing Process, Interventions, Maslow's Hierarchy, and stuff like showed up on my analysis report, and knowing those help you narrow them down! I hope this helps!

Well, I've taken the exams for the 2nd time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it. 😭💔
Congratulations! I LOVE that you added a positive mindset as well as breathing exercises at the end!

I’m super nervous I need a 900 by the 17th, my stomach is constantly in knots if I don’t graduate. Hoping this helps me, thank you!!
