I've seen so many people say they want them to kiss. So let me just explain it a little bit. these people saying they should've kissed know nothing about the time period and it shows💅 I'm just kidding- kinda yeah, them taking that step in their relationship would've been cute and all but totally unacceptable in society especially at Tewekbury's social standing in government. that being said, the historical accuracy is one of my favorite parts of this movie. the characters are shown so clearly and vividly and the time period doesn't create any obstacles as to understanding that. Also the FASHION IS AMAZING. One of the first times I've seen a cast of costumes this accurate. I know this sounds dumb but it makes me so happy to see it done correctly, unlike in Little Women. (I love the story and characters but oh boy does the costuming need help, Micarah Tewers did a video on it check it out!) I also wanted to have Tewksbury see her in that scarlet dress so bad because you know his jaw would've dropped (which is against social norms at this point but he's the type to forget manners in the presence of beauty and I think that's adorable) Also the actors are playing age appropriate roles and you can tell! I love it when movies cast characters like this it just feels so much more real because let's be honest, we never really believed the riverdale cast was in high school. Anyways I love this movie and I hope you guys have a great day if you're reading this and hopefully you appreciate this movie just a bit more! 😁
