My wife has one of these and we've been big Volvo fans for many years. But even as a bit of a fan-boy, I thought this was cheesy and contrived. Could Auto Express get their tongue any further up Volvo's tailpipe?

I have a Volvo V40 R Design nav plus 2017 & still getting to grips with it,love it but still alot to learn about it. I don't think mine has the parking without hands on steering wheel, mine doesn't have the light or lane assist either which is a shame as very handy piece of kit although I was always taught to give a glance over the shoulder before going into another lane.

I think the lane assist would be a bit of a nightmare your one is better without it.

Thanks for commenting but it doesnt exist... the only thing that I found is the ESC but even with it off I dont feel any major differencies

In my opinion the V40 is a much better package than the mercedes A class and on par with the Audi A3. My choice.
