My first wife looked gorgeous in red. July was her birthday month and ruby was her stone. Her engagement ring took a week to pick out. It had diamonds and rubies. Our last year together I got her big ruby red earrings and for Christmas she settled on a crimson red blouse and stridently refused a plaid jacket. A few weeks before her 40th birthday she died of a stroke and I buried her remains with that beautiful crimson blouse and those big ruby earrings. She was a terrific wife and mother to 5 kids. This song always reminds me of her.

I'm almost a full day's journey away from home, training to become a medical doctor. I left my wife and four children back home. I've had series of non-stop lectures since morning, now in a short break. Decided to come play this song and think of my darling wife, the one that gets me going every other day. She has made a lot of sacrifices for me and our home. I had to resign from work to school. It's been very, very tough for us, but with my loving wife, I can do all things!
And guess what? I'm almost out. Graduating by May!

This song reminds me of my belated Beautiful Queen wife who passed away 11/1/2018 and we were married 18 years and together before that for 10 years her birthday is on Halloween and we have a one year three-month old son and she sang to him and read him books every night and I was there and it was beautiful now I do it myself and I will always tell him about how wonderful she was and how amazing spirit she is
