@warriorpluto Just finished my LS swapped Ranger, 1 year ago I didnt know about our lord and savior the mighty LS engine, who knew a stock block could handle 10 psi and put down 489 HP? I definitely didn't 1 year ago lol
Tanel Lips i came here because i had that in my recommandations and now i wonder why vtune had to trash a near to perfectly fine car by cutting half of it out saying the 5.0 doesn’t fit and there’s this guy coming with this built and it doesn’t look like he cut half of the car off... and also vtune is turning hes mustang into a new mustang in an old body. To me its like you go for classic you stay classic. Dont need launch control and all that electronic. Either you have new or old but not both at the same time. This built to me is ok because its just more power and the mustang still looks like a 65 mustang.
Bet she goes 11s easy or 12s slipping n sliding Handful to drive no doubt....Id never guess how quick it was sitting behind it at a light, not real loud til shes on the pipe
Charlie Peeden I have a blown 13 f150 5.0 that destroys Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, and even a few Corvettes. You wont be disappointed in the blower.
Fantastic build. Did you write up somewhere what you had to do to make this swap work? Or the issues you encountered? I am particularly interested in the issue of the front suspension. Thank you.
Sweet setup bros👍 coyote engines gets my adrenaline pumping every time.. Can't wait to put the Roush on my 3valve so I can outrun a few coyote guys for a change. I've been getting punished by 2015 mustangs.
Came here because of the Mustang 5.0 Coyote. Gotta put a load mouth on it, from what I hear a very good exhaust, only hear say though, but the longer gears & rpm capability of the coyote is what I'm interested in, piston firing difference & it's similarities to F1 capabilities.
"Few 60's Mustangs can say they've been over 160 mph!" I have no doubt. I'm not sure I'd want to go over 160 mph in a 60's vintage Mustang. That's not exactly a speed the designers had in mind for that car, either in running gear (which I hope has also been upgraded) or in aerodynamics. Very cool looking install though!
Bro same, I got a 65 and so far it's restored but the engine is original and falling apart. Hopefully one day I can have enough money saved up for the coyote swap so I come here to just dream about it
@@robmontano4472 Wow man, I wish you the best of luck on that! Mine’s also the original engine (200 V6 so nothing really special) with a little under 100k miles on it and it’s getting to the point where we’re gonna need to replace almost every part or just get a new engine
@@robmontano4472 Just build a gen 1 everything fits and way less in the long run 347 will make more power than you can put to the pavement btdt got the engine recipe.

What exhaust setup do you have from the headers back? I am currently in the process of installing a coyote in my 66 coupe with the rod and customs front suspension and love the way this car sounds.
I have that same front end on my 1964 comet with the coilovers, drop spindles, and wilwood brakes. I don't recommend the drop spindles because it is really low now
I wonder what exhaust it’s running? I’m assuming no cats? But like others said it’s very quiet idling! So what’s going on? How did they deal with the o2 sensors if it’s running without cats? Anyone know any details on the exhaust?

I had a 66 Ford Mustang Coupe back in High School and if I had to do it again this is the swap I would do! But instead of the 3 sp C-4 Auto trans it came with I would swap it out for the new Ford 6r80 6-sp Auto trans with a custom paddle shift setup! Also I would swap out the SRA for a IRS!...God Bless!
I have a 9" in there with Wilwood brakes. So far the tko600 has been great. I've made lots of changes to the car since this video feel free to see it in it's update form ruclips.net/channel/UCmkzjE6pwu9mkuvSO-qbVyQ?view_as=subscriber
a good exhaust sound is "not" noise ...only a non car person would call it noise.... its sound and well this would be what a vtec v8 should sound like😁
Sadly it's just manual brakes. I've been putting off trying to fit in a hydroboost setup, since a booster just doesn't seem to be something that will fit my setup.
Love the car man, I'm actually going to be doing this to my 1964 mercury comet which has pretty much the same front end components as your mustang, I was wondering if I could get your email or number cause I have a lot of questions regarding the swap
I have a 1964 mercury comet caliente 2 door hardtop. It would be a better install if you did a mustang II front end first to get rid of the shock towers to make room for that engine. I have that front end and now I have a bunch of room. Used to have a 2013 mustang gt and know that the physical size of a coyote is massive in width.
