      Tanel Lips i came here because i had that in my recommandations and now i wonder why vtune had to trash a near to perfectly fine car by cutting half of it out saying the 5.0 doesn’t fit and there’s this guy coming with this built and it doesn’t look like he cut half of the car off... and also vtune is turning hes mustang into a new mustang in an old body. To me its like you go for classic you stay classic. Dont need launch control and all that electronic. Either you have new or old but not both at the same time. This built to me is ok because its just more power and the mustang still looks like a 65 mustang.

    Came here because of the Mustang 5.0 Coyote. Gotta put a load mouth on it, from what I hear a very good exhaust, only hear say though, but the longer gears & rpm capability of the coyote is what I'm interested in, piston firing difference & it's similarities to F1 capabilities.

  • @Intrepid175a

    "Few 60's Mustangs can say they've been over 160 mph!" I have no doubt. I'm not sure I'd want to go over 160 mph in a 60's vintage Mustang. That's not exactly a speed the designers had in mind for that car, either in running gear (which I hope has also been upgraded) or in aerodynamics. Very cool looking install though!

    Love the car man, I'm actually going to be doing this to my 1964 mercury comet which has pretty much the same front end components as your mustang, I was wondering if I could get your email or number cause I have a lot of questions regarding the swap

      I have a 1964 mercury comet caliente 2 door hardtop. It would be a better install if you did a mustang II front end first to get rid of the shock towers to make room for that engine. I have that front end and now I have a bunch of room. Used to have a 2013 mustang gt and know that the physical size of a coyote is massive in width.

    I believe you guys are one of the first to put a coyote motor and a 65 Mustang this is an older video on RUclips but as one of my favorites all-time favorites I’ve actually started my own bill on my 65 and I’m going to put a GEN three in my Mustang think about it someone comes aside you and I say I’m about to work on that ass on that all day as Mustang but they’re in for a big surprise when you throw that coyote in gear and smoke your ass is

    super nice combination. But I would not waste a 5.0 Coyote on a coupe! Try to find a fastback or build a fastback top.

    Would it sound like a vintage SOHC cammer with vintage firing order?

    • @atomicmillenial9728
      @atomicmillenial9728 5 лет назад

      Sounds like an old Flathead/Y-Block at idle, that firing order gives it a very distinctive burble.

      some cheapy Vision wheels from summit. I'm still debating on if I want to go to a 17" just seem a tad big for the style I'm shooting for.

    What was the exhaust setup usually these engines a raspy sounding

    • @kylefortner8709
      @kylefortner8709 5 лет назад +1

      They're never raspy. Idk where you've heard a raspy one but they're never raspy. Most of the time they're just so loud that they distort the audio in videos.
