Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! No, I pay attention to the warnings lol
Not yet surprisingly, I though I would since I live in Australia
Yep lots. I don't like being taken out the back. I just stay on the surface and catch every single wave coming in. Till I touch sand. Though we once did a rescue (unpatrolled beach) and couldnt make headway against the rip and so we all had to swim over to the break to get in. I was stuffed.
Never. I learned to swim in primary school and got my resuscitation certificate when I was 9 years old.
I live in Canada and ended up getting pulled pretty far out at the local lake (dont think it was a rip current currwnt though), just went with it and then swam back.
Props to chappo for just going straight in without a board, he seems like the type of person you just get along with straight away

People not super used to water can underestimate how heavy wet clothing is. Plus it seems like they were just intending to go wading, but then got pulled deeper by the rip.
I've noticed from watching this show that a lot of Indians (like these guys) swim fully clothed. It's a cultural/religious thing.
They swim fully clothed because of their religion.
If this ridiculousness is actually because of religion, then they should at least have two brain cells to scrape together to realize they need to do everyone a favor and stay out of the water.

It's always the same people making the same mistake and blaming the same reasons when it's them who are really dumb. Majority of the rescues always involve them.
