For the last six weeks I've been helping my 80 year old mother move to a senior living facility and had little internet. Let me tell you, getting home from that to find your beautiful card made my day...week and month. And there are so many videos posted while I was gone to get glorious inspiration from. Thank you so much for all you do, for your subscribers and for charity. You are a blessing in my life.

Tamara Campbell Thank you! 😊 I select sketches based on a few different reasons. 1) What works best with an image or sentiment stamp I want to use. 2) A new sketch I haven’t tried before. 3) What will help me utilize the leftover pattern paper scraps. I don’t plan out the sketches. I just select them one at a time, make a few cards, then choose another sketch. 🙂

In this case everything is so small that it can be used for cards. I have another collection where there are many big text pieces...I don't like this as much...but... I don’t know of any place that offers the sketches in a book. I just print them out one at a time when I see new ones to try. 🙂

Always a fun time to see you turn a 6 x 6 paper pad into a bunch of beautiful cards. I know I may have asked this before but when you choose your papers that you are going to use for the cards are you cutting them to the measurements of the sketch and then the matting just slightly bigger? Do you generally mat a 1/4 of an inch? I am still working on the process and so love the inspriration!
Monica Sanchez-Conrad Thank you! The measurements I list on the sketches are for the pattern papers. Then I generally add 1/8” for the matted layers. Obviously, I don’t always follow the sketch measurements exactly. I modify them all the time to work with the papers available or image/ sentiments I plan on using. 😊

Sharon Perehudoff Some I just cut by hand. Others, I use an assortment of dies. The little banner I use the most is from a retired American Crafts set for Project Life. I’ve never found a replacement for it, and love the size. When cutting them by hand, I cut a notch in the middle, cut from the corner to the notch, flip over the paper and cut again from the corner to the notch. Mine aren’t always perfect. 😊
I just love watching you make cards, What an inspiration! I was laughing at how many times the LFL peel offs came out. I, too, can now add peel offs to my cards. I took advantage of the free shipping recently. Thanks for sharing that information. I have a question...When you attach your card fronts to the card bases, when you do not leave the white showing, are the fronts flush with the bases? Do you just measure that accurately that they are flush? I can't get them that accurate so I always leave the white showing.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. 😊 My card fronts are never exactly the same size as my card bases. I just trim off the sliver of the white card base that shows. I usually line them up prior to adding adhesive to check how much I’ll need to trim.
