Had one of these for 2 weeks when my 2018 Qashqai was getting a new clutch fitted. I found it a fantastic car to drive and very responsive. Only thing I found a bit disconcerting was it was a bit noisy when first started in the morning, tho it was only for a minute or two. All things considered it was a great car and a real step up from my version...so much so that I didn't want to give it back ☺️
Great review. Did you know you do not have to squeeze on the shifter to put into drive only for reverse. Just noticed thays what you were doing. Just ordered one of these bad boys. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the review! I now search a car review directly with the name of the channel to see if you have a review :) One thing though, I didnt see the ambient lightning. Or did I miss it?
I drove one on Friday and ordered a Tekna. You missed the facility to store that parcel shelf under the boot floor when you take it out - few cars provide this. Also the leather in Teknas is a vegetable product. Specs vary in different markets - the glass roof and heated seats/wheel, front screen are only included in Tekna+ here in Spain. I live in Andalusia and none of these things are needed here!
What would you pick between this Nissan and the new Renault Austral? What do you think about the cabin noise insulation between the two cars? What about the premium audio systems?
I test drived one. I started the car and turned the AC on medium and the engine kicked in. It was veeery loud.. it clamed down after a while and then it was quiet..
Thank you. I tried this car and I liked it. But for me, the steering wheel had a loose feel. You dont get real response and its not sporty at all. What do you think?
As I understand it, the Qashqai is the only car that comes with an electric motor that exclusively drives the wheels. The petrol engine doesn't drive the wheels at all. The Honda on the other hand uses both the electric motor and the petrol engine to drive the wheels. There is no gearbox in the Qashqai. The Honda has a gearbox. In that respect, both cars are significantly different. Which is better? That's personal opinion. Efficiency is very much dictated by how either car is driven.
Large wheels generally mean thinner tires. The tires have to be small enough to fit inside your wheel well. The thinner your tire, the less able it is to take on rougher roads and potholes, which can lead to blowouts
Yes, but the Qashqai has multi link rear suspension only if you choose a 4WD powertrain or if you choose a Tekna+ spec in a 2WD powertrain, if not then it will be a twist beam rear axle, the unit that this guy tried here is a 2WD Tekna so that one didn't had a multi link rear suspension, for that in the e-Power you will have to go the Tekna+ spec to get it.
Engine charges only the bty & nothing else, the bty powers the electric motor that then drives the wheels & thats it in a nutshell. All the driving is only in ev & nothing else. I get mine in 3 days.
I’ve had this car for 3 months now. It’s complete crap, cheap tech, crap drive and engine. This is the worst car I’ve ever owned and I can’t wait to get rid of it and replace with something worth owning!
Nice car except for the blue on the interior, that’s just awful and put me off buying one. Why did they do something awful?? It’s not like it’s matching the colour of the car. The interior designer needs to give his/her head a wobble!!!

What would you pick between this Nissan and the new Renault Austral? What do you think about the cabin noise insulation between the two cars? What about the premium audio systems?
I think Nissan has a better Engine hybrid system
But comparing only the noise insulation and the premium audio system?
@@vicmotoFXDLSaw a review recently, the Renault seems way more efficient than the Nissan.
Also, in your opinion, would you pick this one or the new Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid?
This 😁
@@SDADanCars thank you for answering! :)

I think it is build for comfort and practically…indeed not a sporty car …
Thank you for the review Dan. I'll try it soon in Fribourg and will probably buy it to replace my old 2008 Touran ^_^
Love the Civic as well!
Nice 👌 Thanks for feedback Adam 👌
How does it compare to the honda civics system?

eu sunt in dubii intre Nissan QQ e-Power si Kia Sportage
Are you sure it has multi link rear suspension
I will check again but it should

Is this car support android auto and Apple CarPlay?
Yes 👍
It does at certain trims, but Android Auto is wired only. Apple is wireless.
you said the engine power the battery and the.. motor.?????
I think i explain all in video … 🤔
Salut Dan il est vraiment bien le nouvel Qashqai
👍🙏
This or the Corolla Cross? although they have a big price difference
Hard to say … i like more Qashqai
Owners manual for Nissan is not user friendly. In PDF is almost unreadable.

Price???
He says it within the first 80 seconds of the video
