    9-21-2023: Awesome. Thanks for creating and publishing this very well done informative how-to video. Extremely helpful. Are you able to provide your source for the grille replacement? Thank you.

    Cool video, I saw you stopped at a light and saw your decal on your rear window.

    Hey bro I have a 2019 canyon sle. Will the grill for a 2018 fit fine or are they different?

    • @BarelyBuiltRight
      @BarelyBuiltRight  8 месяцев назад

      I think it should be fine! As long as it is the same generation

    I have a question regarding the front part, is it possible if you can drop it only one inch, without having to mess with the coil overs and springs just leaving it on a stocked shock??

    • @BarelyBuiltRight
      @BarelyBuiltRight  Год назад

      I don't really see a way to drop the front at all without replacing the springs. The Belltech kit comes with a lot of shims that allow you to choose your drop up front, max of 3". You may be able to buy just the front end parts directly from them.

    Is there enough room with the radiator cover off and top grille nuts removed to get your hands in to just remove the GMC emblem? I am looking at replacing the Standard Red / Chrome GMC logo with a Black / Chrome on my 2019 Canyon Denali. Thanks for your video

      Thanks for your view! I would think you could do that...there's actually a decent amount of space once you take that first shroud panel off. If not you could remove the top grille screws and gently pull it back enough for access. Good luck!

      As good as its gonna get! I can see fairly well through it, just can't read or see fine detail, but it's hardly a hindrance in my daily life. Thanks for your support!

    Do you know what type of led light will fit to replace the light in the anzo headlight

      I don't off hand, but if you remove the actual bulbs it should be imprinted with which bulbs they are. Then you can look up "bulb XX LED" or similar

    How do you put the gmc emblem on the aftermarket grille

    • @BarelyBuiltRight
      @BarelyBuiltRight  11 месяцев назад

      The grille I bought came with a backer plate that you can attach the OEM emblem too. Can be mounted anywhere in the honeycomb

    Why is the Stock Grill SO DIFFICULT And just doesn’t want to let go!!?? It is hands down the hardest mod I’ve done! I have lifted three trucks myself. THAT was easier than this piece of crap stock one

    • @BarelyBuiltRight
      @BarelyBuiltRight  2 года назад +1

      It is tricky!! I think the key is keeping the constant pressure as you pop each clip. If you don't, the clips are so strong they will just snap right back in to place

      @@BarelyBuiltRight You are a VERY patient to answer my question. Your response offered me to see how Rushed I was being with this job...Also, the 109F didnt help! *NOTE the included badge plate kit to install the GMC logo? The screws were half the size too small I used self tappers.

      And to the rear. Installing a rear LED sequential tail light bar WITHOUT a wired trailer hookup(*Add $75-$140 uninstalled) is not available on RUclips! I mean crap anyone can marry up wire for wire on a seven (round) trailer plug! So until someone go figures out how to do this with resistors and a crossover box. We are left with having to do the former first. Or saying forgetaboutit

    Nice job but that's the worse bumper I ever saw! Not impressed with GMC I would have to switch that out for a welded bumper and bully or brush guard. My F150 has metal bumper but I would love to have the new Raptor grill and a welded bumper and brush guard installed.

    Hm… ya start the video with the front already removed. Sure would be helpful if it showed what you have to do to get to the grill rather than starting the video after that part is already done. That’s actually the the hardest part of replacing the grill.
    Pretty weak.

      You sure you didn't accidentally skip ahead? The first 1:55 is all the steps to remove the bumper....
