On this adventure pilot vlog we are flying our airplane North to see the Northern Lights, also known as the aurora borealis! Living in Canada has one major perk that most places on earth don't get to experience... the Aurora Borealis! So on this flight, we are loading the airplane up with family and friends to fly northbound to northern British Columbia, Canada, to catch this beautiful spectacle of mother nature at its best. Of course, the further north you go, the better the aurora gets! Flying the mighty Cessna Conquest hundreds of miles north should give us darker skies, less city light pollution, and a better brighter aurora! I remember when I was younger flying a Cessna 172 arounbd by myself at night and seeing the aurora from the sky for the first time. Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could have brought everyone on this weekend aviation adventure but sadly, the airplane only has 7 seats! One of the perks of being the pilot is that your seat is always reserved for you :p.
My channel is all about my life adventures. As a passionate Canadian pilot that loves the outdoors, fishing, flying, and the backcountry, I get to do a lot of adventures that take me outside of the normal! If you enjoyed this video and want to learn more about aviation, flying, airplanes, and want to follow along on these journeys, then make sure you subscribe, comment, and give this video a like! Also, if you are interested in getting your private pilots license or becoming a commercial pilot, don't hesitate to reach out! We are on our way to 10k subscribers and it would be really cool to hit that benchmark! :)
Enjoy!

I just decided to try to attempt to become a commercial pilot after I finish year 12 your videos were a big part of that, so thanks
I’m so glad to hear that! If anything, I hope I can inspire people to chase after the things they have a passion for
What a great thing to be able to do, fly your parents and family, friend to see such an amazing sight!!! Never seen them myself!
Evan, you are soooo right. Those PT6's are absolute music to the ears. I'll take that sound over the sound of a piston engine any time. I love the smell of Jet A in the mornin...
I agree

Such a weapon
Lol what do you mean?
@@EvanLuft the plane.. So cool!
Oh hahaha! It is a good airplane! :)
@@EvanLuft just a bit of Aussie colloquial language to keep you on your toes.. Loving the vids!
Hahahahah I love it. Eh. You got crocs and we got bears. So through survival evolution we developed a slightly different lingo hahah
What does the medical test consist of for the PPL? I’m concerned I won’t be able to pass because I have bad vision in my left eye.
Hey Ben, I am not too sure if the individual eye issue will affect your medical because it depends on the severity and how well your eye is in the exam. You do have to pass a visual test with each eye individually (one eye closed while testing the other on an eye chart) but you wouldn’t know until you did the medical
I’m going to leave a comment here, because one day I’m gonna be flying like this too. No, not a pilot, just a passenger. 😂✈️
Yes!! :) :) why not as a pilot? :p maybe flight training is gonna be for your too!
Evan, I’d rather be the passenger. It’s much safer for me. 😂
Awe! Have you ever been in the cockpit?
I’ve never been. I’ve never tried to ride to the kind of plane you are flying too.
Which school did you go
I love turbines the Abrams has uses one as well
Heck yeah! :) :)
What kinda car you got hiding in that hangar
Haha Shelby GT
@@EvanLuft love it! We hide a few in ours as well!
What's your job now and how much money did you get from it
A turboprop job like this can fetch 500 to 600 per day depending on if it’s private or not.
@@EvanLuft can you tell me one of the cheapest schools I can go in Canada
@@EvanLuft do you have any other way that I can contact with you
