Dimash is at this time a superstar in China and Russia. He has also become quite famous in the rest of the world and was in the middle of a European tour when he had to stop because of Covid. He gave a sold out concert in NY city last December (18,000 people). It was amazing.! You will find most of his songs and even full shows on RUclips and on his channel. As others have said, he is the best singer in the world and this was just a little taste of his talent! I hope you keep listening! He is from Kazakhstan and is now 26 (2020). Dimash has been formally training and performing for over 21 years. At the age of 5 years old it was determined he had perfect pitch. Dimash is referred to as the Best Singer in the World. Dimash known for his exceptionally wide countertenor vocal range. It is recorded that he has a range higher than Six (6) Octaves and continues to improve his ranges and techniques.
Dimash calls his style an "Innovation" [Neo-Classicism] in the Classical Crossover Genre. Dimash combines many Styles such as Classical (Opera), Contemporary (Modern, Pop, Jazz, Rap), Estrada and traditional Kazakh folk music. Dimash is multi-talented, Singer [12 languages], Multi-instrumentalist [7 instruments], Composer and Performer. Dimash is a phenomenal Vocal Story-teller.
Dimash graduated in 2014 from Music Institute in Classical Music with Major in Vocal Opera (Bel Canto). Thought Dimash is not yet well known in the US, he is considered the top vocalist of our generation (not the best singer mind you, because different people have different tastes in music). He refuses to be limited in a niche, so he sings pop, opera, rock, popera (combo of opera and pop), and even ventured into some rap. He sings in 12 languages and you guys are just scratching the surface with this amazing talent. He came to New York and sold out the arena in days for his December 2019 show, so he's getting better known here too. His range is now up to 7 octaves and he's been training his voice and developing his voice and showmanship since he's been 5 years old.

If I come to his voice . Unique, beautiful, clean and strong. Also his family is musician. His family was awarded the Honorary Music Artists title by the Kazakhstan government. Dimash has been training since the age of 5 . His voice is bariton, tenor, soprano and bass. He has a great sound range. His vocal range is very wide and vocal cords longer than normal( he said in an interview). He has 6 oktaves and whistle tone (D8). He sings opera, rock, jazz, pop, classical and folk genres. He has songs in Kazakh, Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Serbian, Kyrgyz, German and Spanish.

I live in the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas and unfortunately Dimash is still not well known here in the United States, I was just introduced to him barely 3 months ago by my roommate who just happened to stumbled across this performance on RUclips and played it for me and I almost immediately knew I was listening to the GREATEST SINGER IN THE WORLD, EVER!!!! and I thought the same thing that you guys did, HOW have I NEVER heard of him before and nobody else that I know had ever heard of Dimash either? Dimash was a wildcard entry and only foreigner. He was 23 at that time. He’s been classically trained since the age of 5, has degrees in music and is currently studying for his PhD. He’s also a multi instrumentalist and composer. He sings in 12 languages, speaks Kazakh, Russian and is learning English and Mandarin. Though opera trained he declined a place with an opera company to do his own thing which is dining in all genres of music. The mainstream music doesn't promote such quality. That's why him or Nightwish or other artists of such calibers are not that widely known.
This was the performance that started his international career indeed. It was on a Chinese show for professional singers. He's a 26 yo Kazakh man, he was 22 here. His fan base has started expanding in the West as well, he's got over 10 million fans, and he tours Europe and certain parts of Asia. He also had a concert in New York last year. His focus is on concerts and live performances, more than on studio music.
He's an extraordinary singer, like I've never seen before, and maybe never will again. This is just the beginning, there's still so much more to see from him.
And above all, he's a grounded nice person. A beautiful person , not only a beautiful voice.

Hello, yes now Dimash is global with fan clubs in nearly every country. Dears (as Dimash named his fans) traveled thousands of kilometres from many countries to watch him perform. I did, from New Zealand to Shenzhen, China and on to Aktobe, Kazakhstan in 2018. Dimash is a once in a lifetime phenomenon that I felt privileged to witness in my life. I know Devin, "love" is no pleasure for me. (I prefer Nightwish or Beast in black ...) But it's performance. The two are not to compared.
