You should try to mix in a few in studio interviews. It totally changes the vibe and pace of the conversation. Obviously it’s not possible for everyone but I think it would help your channel tremendously if you have some longer form sit down podcasts in person. You get a better feel for who the person is.
Also, I agree on the Vinny situation. Disgusting that the government allows the BOSS to cooperate to takedown the guys he ordered around. And it wasn’t just any boss. Joe was a legend. From the three capos murders to tons more. But he walked.
I was born in 76 so I was too young but we wanted to get into mikaras so bad. I didn’t miss hanging at Allen and Cooley though great times. My grandfather played on Bruno’s bocce team . The south end was a great place to be back in the 80s and 90s. It’s still pretty alright now

My family moved to the north end from Italy in the 60’s and then into Medford in the 90’s but I moved back into the neighborhood now. Ya, Andover is super nice and I like Peabody too. Lots of good restaurants around there and Salem is right there. Really nice area

Chicky is a great guy. Just a fun loving guy. My old man was as on the lamb in Springfield from NY for about two years in the early ‘90’s. He opened a restaurant downtown and had some rackets. He knew Bruno and met Chicky a few times. Said they were serious but so much different to work with. Said they were gentlemen and easy to operate around. What Chicky says is true. My dad was shocked that they didn’t try to shake him down for the poker machines, pull tabs, loans and other small stuff. He offered and Bruno told him to just keep an open tab on his food and drinks and it’s all good. I still have a cousin that’s a cop in Ludlow now. It’s a suburb of Springfield.
