The steam turbine has a “dump excess” button of steam in the bottom right corner of the GUI so that you don’t have to make the fail safe thing for steam on the reactor. And then if you want to run your reactor to burn more fuel, you have to use a more effective coolant like sodium. Which then in turn means you need a thermoelectric boiler set up. I know I’m late, but I’ve stumbled onto your series and enjoying the few episodes I’ve seen so far 😊
@@Stringer207 i always intended to make a boiler, but i got all the stuff i need for now( polonium,plutonium,antimatter)... Im making fusion soon! I totally forgot about dumping excess lmao. Even after 11 yrs of playing this game i feel stupid at times.. im glad youre enjoying!
Don't store radioactive waste on waste tanks, use the buffer of the chemical pipes, the ultimate can hold 1M per pipe, which is a considerable amount than the 100k of the waste tank (unless they changed it) u can also pipe them pretty far away from the reactor so it doesn't cause radiation whenever it explodes; if your reactor explodes and it doesn't have waste inside it will not pollute the chunk, so the error most people do is store the waste close to the reactor polluting the chunk when it breaks them via the explosion the reactor causes (however i do not know if they changed any of this as i've only played mekanism through 1.12.2 - 1.16.5)
so far, the number of tanks is enough to dissipate ALL nuclear waste i produce in case my storage fills up.. + ive already started running out of uranium so ....
hi, you could use a requester in ae2, plus for a full check for the network you can right click your controller and check for any missing channels the controller will tell you
also stopping the reactor also with the same redstone signal when excess steam is detected is a good idea, love the video tho breakfast is premium upload time
@@InTeRxD1000 i have 32 requesters in the network, but afaik they only craft upto a designated amount and not continuously.. good shout about the vhannels tho!
@@KSAW00 what i was meaning is if you take your reactive waste drive in the cell workbench and apply an overflow destruction card to it you wont need that waste disposal setup you made at all

Eating my breakfast and watching your videos alway a vibe. keep it up
6:06 thx for asking. Yes, I just drank a glass of water🙂
@eneagut1343 ♥️thank you. Take care of yo self!
5:07 what tool did you use to measure like this?? This is what I need lol
tape measure! its saved my ass far too often!

I dont think the redstone on the solar neutron activator matters bcuz it turns off at night
@@TravTooThurl01 something i noticed much much later lmao
How do you store fe into ur system
@TravTooThurl01 FE cell
Am i the First?
Lets GOOOO!!
i believe so!
you could use an overflow destruction card on your fluid and chemical drives saving all the hassle to make all the trash cans and that waste system?
@@SurvivorSteve1888 yes, but ae2 is inherently throughput limited
@@SurvivorSteve1888 another idea i had was using a void cell, but this seems to work just fine so i didnt bother
