Rap impresario Sean Combs, then known as Puffy, his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, his bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, and rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow had been arrested following a shooting inside a Times Square club that wounded three bystanders.
The cops found Lopez, then 30, cuffed in “the cage.” Combs was also in the stationhouse on West 54th Street, his plans for a spectacular celebration of the new millennium a few days later temporarily on hold.

The victim has ALWAYS said it was Diddy that shot her. She's been very vocal about that since it happened. Police & Prosecutors at the time kept insisting she was confused...I could see that being true IF (& that's a BIG IF) the victim had been a white woman with very little interactions with Black folks. As a white woman myself those 2 black men did NOT look anything alike to me. So I'm reasonably certain the Black woman who was shot, in the face, was NEVER "confused" about WHO she was looking at when he pulled the trigger.

After he was deported, he wasn't allowed to travel to the US and to get anywhere in the world from Belize, you have to have a US connecting flight. (Alright, probably some places you can get to from Mexico City or Cancun). It's been a long time since his US travel restriction was lifted. There's no way he could have become a politician in Belize and not be able to travel to the US.

I have not been actively following the Diddy case, I am not fully informed about the current sh!+ show. If Shane served his sentence, accepted the money, and moved on with their life, it is unclear why he would continue to engage in a cover-up for Diddy. I believe him.

He’s being mature with his delivery. He is respecting the victims voice including his own. He isn’t trying to be a grabber of attention by promoting gossip but allowing the investigation process to reveal the truth.
Now let's look at the totality of the evidence. Shyne has always said he didn't do it. The woman who was shot said he didn't do it for years. Yet shine never snitched. He served his time. Then, Lil Rod swore in a sworn statement, Diddy bragged about getting away with the shooting. Then Shyne finally says "I didn't do it. Everybody knew I was the fall guy." So now you know that Diddy lied to save his ass. If you lie aabout one thing, you will lie about another. If Diddy is bold enough to shoot someone in a crowded club, what makes you think he wouldn't have somebody murdered? What makes you think he wouldn't SA someone? The sky is the limit from that point. Just saying.
