@@niallbeggan4468 you can measure the potential gap at the end of a platform when getting on the water, as speaking of practical use that I seek, instead of guessing. While not perfect, can be a quick substitute when crews don't have an Empower Oarlock or even angle guides. While on sweep, you just have to use the Kleshnev method of guides, no other choice.
