The three best erhu musicians in China and the three that I love and admire most! Apparently, Sung is the head of the family. Jiang is versatile while Yu is like a flower in full blosom!
If the sum of their ages is 120 years, then at least the sum of their total erhu-playing years is over 100! This is how much efforts they have poured in besides talents as pre-requisites!
@JazzyZenBrotha, thanks for the video. Sure enough, that was Kemei Jiang in a classroom. She was not speaking English nor Chinese as I understand both. She probably was speaking Russian and I don't know if she was in the States, in Russia or in China. If you look at the letter "N" in the video, the slope position is on the wrong side. Only Russian alphebets has that letter. But she is undeniably phenomenal, I want to take her music and her home so bad. Can anyone help? I am serious. LOL
@JazzyZenBrotha, haha, I don't know either. You two need to work this out. I also have the upmost respect and admiration for Hongmei, but just professionally and as an erhu guru. As for kemei, it is a totally different story. I am totally attracted to her, physically, mentally , emotionally and romantically. I have a thing for her and I have yet to find out what. It could be her dainty smile or her perfect nose or just the way she moves with the music. I wish I knew.
@wingchunexpert - ha ha, David, that's my friend. He's a great guy. He also has an appreciation for Yu Hongmei, as you've already discovered. Between he and I, I'm noy sure who has the bigger admiration (and attraction) to Hongmei. ha ha

赛马作曲于60年代。毛时代有很多经典艺术作品。youtube上你听到的大型震撼性的中国音乐作品大多出于50-70年代。现代急功近利为钱奔忙的中国人写不出来。

While Hongmei seems to be less approachable, Kemei gives off a good vibe which I can identify and be comfortable with.

這首曲子後段炫技的部份明顯抄襲了另一首知名二胡獨奏曲「戰馬奔騰」的橋段. 感覺上,失去了蒙古音樂的風格. 是一大敗筆. 拿掉這一段, 風格會比較統一.
erhufan 額，〈新賽馬〉編曲者和〈戰馬奔騰〉作曲者是同一人，不了解還是別評論的好。
是战马奔腾作者的儿子把两者结合成新赛马的
新赛马和赛马奔腾都是陈军父子的作品，所以不能说是“抄袭”，我对你“败笔”一说也不赞同，仁者见仁，智者见智。
那个啥……赛马是黄海怀作曲，陈军父亲写的叫战马奔腾，不叫赛马奔腾。
