- This video visualizes the counter intuitive phenomenon of the transformers, when voltage is stepped up, the current gets stepped down. This is a consequence of energy conservation. Transformers work on the principle of electromagnetic induction - mutual induction. Power line transmission requires both step up and step down transformers.

Right
wahi, teaching is an art and Mahesh Shenoy sir excelled it
that's confused me for a long time and now u answer all the questions that i was thinking about... thanks u so much
Always search for this kind of lectures.
Amazing techniques and teaching styles with animations.❤
This guy is absolutely amazing 👏 Thank you so much
wonderful sir...!just amazing...especially when the "coulombs" talked with each other ,i was just awe struck...!and i too am a confused kid lol..!
8:00 my expression literally 🤯
questioning mind like mine
you know what i too am a confused kid :)
Our teachers should learn from u ......"the way to explain ".......Indeed , sir u are too gud
Yes bro same to my teachers
This has solved all the doubts I ever had about electrical power. The explanation was just BRILLIANT!!
Hats off to you sir !! Down from heaven to teach us Physics sent by God !! Luv u sir 😍
I literally got tears ,at the end of the video,This man solved each doubt ,at 10:38 this was the question I always used to wonder about and would stay confused, this channel is a gem for students like me... Thank you very much sir 🫡🫡
rota kon h ispe gadha🤣
😂😂
Me too
Hmri andhr ki frustation hai jho rulan mai ayi hai... sch ke teachers ko puchthe tho clearly explain nahi karte ... online pei search kiya tho ... nahi milte...kyunki sab que ki doubts clear karne mai lagey huye hai😢.....atlast jab saari hope ktham thab iss vd akey sari doubts clear kardiya tho rulan ana hi chahiye kya@@basicallyapotato5410
That was just exceptional. I will have to start donating monthly to Khan Academy because without people like you my mind would be a mess
Have you started donating monthly?
@@LukasTaman😂😂
I am in class 12 and I didn't even understand a single word of my physics teacher as he doesn't explain well. But when I watched this, it felt on another level ❤🎉🔥
Hahahaa 10:45 struggle was real sir, thanks for clearing the doubt, you are a legend
Usually i don't comment . But this man's way of teaching ,forced me to do it,
Keep up it sir....
damn cool explanation sir! 10:26 b4 this holy timing i was also such a kid but now i am not :)) thanks a ton sir. The whole team is doing an yeoman service!!!
Wow man you're really awesome. I had the same issues. I don't say it's all clear for me now, but i've learned a big deal from you and via your channel
Rather than 10 rounds per a coulomb why don't we think 10 coulombs are revolving per a round?
I love such questions! What do you think?
@@kavithaseepana3855 1C doing 10 rounds per second, and 10 Cs doing 1 round per second both yield the same current - 10 A.
You can visualise it both ways!
MashaAllah... ❤❤❤❤❤
I have not seen even a single video on RUclips except this one which explained each and every detail of this topic with so much perfection....
Cleared all the 3 doubts which I had in this topic especially at 5:58
thank you soo much sir my concepts are super clear now after watching ton of your physics videos for exams i have fallen in love with physics so i watch your videos even when there's no exams just to fulfill my curiosity also 10:38 i struggled alot with this i think i have it cleared too now thank you so much again !! you are a gem !!
I cannot stress enough on how much Khan Academy's videos have helped me....you guys are doing an excellent job!!!!!!😁
Its very difficult to find out the videos of chapter please make a playlist na plss its really getting very hard
Thank you, you are a great teacher with easy to understand explanations.
Sir. when listening to your voice, you seem to be a young teacher. But you teach as very much experienced one. you make the myth, that experienced teacher only teach peerlessly to be false anymore. thank you so much for your peerless explanation Sir. we respect you sir
Brilliant. All confusions answered in one video.
You are simply amazing sir...😇😇😇✌✌✌ No words... my doubt was exactly this...
Bro what an explanation 🎉🎉🎉
This dude got every possible questions that ... could come in mind
High voltage transmission of the concept. Fabulous sir. 👏👏👏
Brilliant explanation sir. This channel deserves much more views and subscribers
I DON'T KNOW HOW CAN U READ EXACTLY AND EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I HAD , u are awesome sir
Sorry I think AWESOME is underrated for u
AFTER CLEARING IIT I will definitely donate sir , now I don't have something to give
I don't know what iam typing out of happiness
sir why dont we use LCR circuits more frequently in place of step up transformers, though it amplifes the voltage. please reply sir
I don't get you...
Exceptional way of tackling all the problems. It was an amazing explanation!
damn this guy really knows his stuff..best explanation ive seen
never thought youtube could be this helpful
Basically correct except the voltage on the power supply side is not 1000V. It should be 1000+0.1R+0.1R = 1000+0.2R (V)
I am doing a PhD in Physics, was thinking about why does my satellite's electronic box have correlations with magnetometer readings and unexpectedly learned something new from this❤️
Man your teaching skills are phenomenal.
The most goated explanation
Thank you sir ❤️
In the animation, it looks like the FREQUENCY cganges?????
Whoahhhhh. I've never gotten this kind of explanation from my teachers. I am in awe with your explanation, keep on posting videos for students like us . We look up to you
This is a very good explanation, but I think the symbol for current is an uppercase I, not a lowercase i. 10:00
o7
You are highly inspired by Prof. Walter lewin... *Aa Haa...!*
Your are the best..........!no words to explain how you teach🤗
You answered the ditto same question I had and surprisingly nobody was giving me such a convincing answer like you did!!
What is the name of this drawing software/apps???? Anybody knows???
10:25 😂😂 me
I absolutely search for such explainations in electricity..brilliant explaination
thx for sharing your confusing question as we have those but without any answer , logic and explaination.
Which presentation software are you using please tell me ?
I love you India. Thanks to you guy video, everything is much simpler to understand. And your voice is a lvery clean and easier to listen.
this is a life saver cuz my electricals mam will eat me if i don't answer the viva correctly.
The best part is the electron at the end refusing to stick to mortal mechanics and casually flying outside the wire.
If we connect step down transformers in series
Haaaa. Amount of current will be 😈😈😈😈
Need more teachers like you!❤️
how can u ans all of my questions without even me asking u the questions ..(telepathy i guess XD)
You are an amazing teacher. Nobody has ever explained the topic this way.
5:52 He is clearing my doubts which never came to mind👍💀
Wow the best explanation I've seen 😍
Billion volts to create lightning (insert maniacal laughter mwhahahah)
All the doubts i have ever got , sir has an answer for it 🙏🙏
Excellent ! Thank you very much.
brilliant exoplanation. ty! sir.
Super sir👍🏻👍🏻 thank u so much...
Excellent Review. Cannot be said any better than this
Best explanation ever. I'm satisfied.
well that's amazing :"D thanks for explaining
still I am not convinced.....After stepping up the voltage across the secondary windings increased...... if the voltage is increased corresponding current also will increase .....with out ohms law also I have this doubt............
bro you too in 12th right or preparing for entrance exam
THIS VIDEO IS AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
Very nice video sir. Easy to comprehend
You answer all my why questions 🥹
11:22 - Hasn't the voltage reduced by sqrt(10) and not 10?
❤️Just love u man great respect
Amazing..
Thanks to all the lectures
I hoped this would go into core losses...
very good explanation sir
I haven't seen a better intuition
Thank you sir, very well explained. My question is, how would i reintroduce a sufficient current to circuit that has been stepped up and thus lossed current without using a transitor because they only work in DC circuits.
I guess the answer would be to send an exagerated amount of current so to finish with the amount needed on the other side. Sounds kinda dangerous.😁Please need help.
10:29 I'm also a confusing kid but still didn't understand p=v^2r..
Can you explain more??
The V in this equation is not the emf induced by primary coil, its the voltage drop across the resistance of wire itself.
I love you, youa. Solved all my doubt
Your videos are lot helpful
Ur videos are useful
Escence of teaching...you take years learning something.....and give it away....happily...without any expectations.....
Thank you so much Sir.
Great explanation 👍
Thanks for mentioning the limitations when you was explaining some terms by animation film. Really nice. Thanks from Bangladesh.
Love your teaching ram sir
THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR
Wow wow wow you teach 👌
Thankful to you 🎉
question: can we explain the lower current flowing through the land wires by saying that they have R resistance value higher than the resistance of the stepped down circuit?
Is it for class 10 or 12 ???
BEST BESTT BESTTT
One of the Beast Videos of Physics i have ever seen, Besides learning about AC Transformer, I truly understood the concept of Power Loss as well
6:12 If the second transformer is removed and the 1000V is connected directly to the circuit containing the bulb (just as an instance), would Ohm's law still not work? If the law will hold then increasing voltage by increasing the number of turns in the number of turns in the secondary circuit of the first transformer would in essence decrease the current in the secondary circuit containing the bulb (again violating Ohm's law). So how do you explain that?
🙌hatsoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much ❤
Absolutely amazing explanation... Thank you so much sir 😭😭
