Great card. Love the artwork. The oval stencils worked brilliantly for the eyes. I once had a dog follow me and my dog home from the woods. He crossed several, thankfully quiet, roads to follow us. He was very wary of me but seemed to want to be with my dog so I tied my dog in the garage, waited for the little dog to go inside and shut the door behind him and then let him into the house from there. No details on his collar but we managed to track down an owner within a couple of hours using the local social media page. He was so pleased to see his mum!
Oh wow, glad you found the owner. I always worry about losing one of mine, as I’ve witnessed a few people losing their dogs in the woods. Mine have Bluetooth tags that they wear on wood walks 😊
Once looked after a 'lost' dog for three days who followed me home....only to find out our frantic next but one neighbours were looking after him for friends on holiday oooops 😂 Great card! xx
Fantastic card and looove the sentiment. Now if they were balloon dogs, they would rattle and pop with all the treats! 🤣 Bless them. Thanks Deb and have a beautiful day xx Hugs to Rabbit and Badger xxx
This card is too cute❤️. I always wanted a dog to follow me home. I love this card. The faces on the balloons really make it. Thanks Deb, hope you have a happy day
This is hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣 You did an excellent job of bringing them to life with the faces and expressions! I like that set of oval templates too. I think anyone would love to receive a card like that to brighten their day. Your video certainly brightened mine! 🩷
The balloons are really fun Deb and the idea of the 'Can I keep him' sentiment to go with the dog shaped balloon works brilliantly...some clever touches with the added faces and speech bubble using the plastic stencilled shapes which work well for these details...you have such a great imagination. x
Cute little "Balloon Folks" on a funny card for any occasion, but I couldn't stop laughing at your "fur babies" playing in the snow early in the morning. I don't know which of your dogs is which or what breed they are, but the little black and white one, romping and rolling was having such a god time! Years ago I had a small silver poodle who would do exactly the same thing in the snow, so funny. Enjoy them, they are cute! AND, so is today's card. Thanks. 🐈🐈⬛
Thank you, that clip always makes me laugh, Badger (black and white bichon/cavalier) rubbing his face along the path and Rabbit (poodle/cavalier) doing rolly polly’s 😂😊
Super cute card Deb. When you pulled the shapes ruler out it reminded me of making a sign for my mother. My mom suffered with Dementia for about 5 years and when we had to move rooms for more care she was confused where she was. I made signs out of round speech bubbles with eyes, eyelashes and mouths that said "Rosy's Room" so she knew she was in the right place. Her rooms were covered with paper flowers, butterflies and anything else that might bring a smile to her face. It was hard when she moved the last time and did not want any of that "stuff" or pictures on the walls because that must be someone else's. It took a long time before I made anything out of paper after that. Sorry it is "funny" how something like a stencil can send you into a sea of memories. Thanks for letting me get that out.
Thanks, I’ve had cats coming to mine for food occasionally, previous dogs have allowed cats into the garden, Rabbit and Badger won’t even let a butterfly in the garden let alone a cat 😂😊
😂😂😂😂😂 Very cute! Sizzix really should give a better representation of die sizes for those of us who have to purchase on-line. I had no idea from the packaging that balloon was so large. From the peek you gave, looks like the bottle is a useful size too. I bought a set of those stencils 5 decades ago when I went to school in Britain. Still have them but they're in a sorry state from being dropped over the years. I've tried to replace them, but I guess they stopped offering them here when everyone started designing on computer. 🤷♀️ You're reading the extent of my computer skills, so I've been using dies & tracing around them instead. Your beautifully expressive balloon faces prove not everything "high tech" is better. (Don't mind me, I'm just having a serious case of nostalgia & stencil envy. 😊)
OMG! THANK YOU for the thunk upside the head! I only just searched there - they have them! I just assumed when the drafting supply places (now all gone) & fine art supply shops stopped carrying them, I was out of luck. I'm embarrassed, but so glad I said something, as I would never have thought to look there! 💙💙💙💙
I can't believe how just a tiny stroke or a dot with a pen makes your cards come to life, just so clever x
Thank you ☺️
I love it! ❤😂
Thank you ☺️

Thanks, yes the dies in this set are larger than I expected too. I think I got my stencil rulers on Amazon so it may be worth checking there 😊
