i live in taiwan and my wife once told me she sleeps with my shirt when she misses too much. i have a 1.5 year old kid who i have not met yet. i sometimes sleep looking at his photo. life is hard, but everything i do for my family is worth it. they will come next month for a visit. so excited to meet them both :)

My brothers, my bestfriends since childhood they both had to leave for US, they are both 17 and 18 yrs old.I miss them in every happiness, every eid every birthday. seeing my mom miss them hurts me, but they left to have a better future inshaAllah. Alhamdulillah, i recently went to meet them in feb, spent 3 months with them and now back. but without even a single family member everything feels incomplete and the longing remains. they love Pakistan. and I do too. but sadly whenever i suggest them to opt for a career here, they give me reasons how there are no good opportunities for our youth, which is a fact. everybody in Pakistan is just trying to meet ends, its hard to thrive financially in this country, due to the current never ending inflation, and other similar issues. Now I can feel the pain and the longing our mothers, wives, sisters and daughters go through when their dear ones go to pardes to support their families.💔

There are so many versions of almost the same lyrics in Pushto language. Being a Pathan, we use to sing such verses to our loved ones who are abroad. We miss them, we wait for their reunions. Adnan, the way you are sketching the image of this whole Pardess scenario in Saraiki, make us fall in love with Saraiki. Loved the first version and loving the second one even more.
