yeah really sad about the death threats and toxic internet behavior, those ppl failed to even see or understand that Lucas and Baekhyun are actually really close and adore each other, and jokes between them aren't the same as strangers or as formal but I kinda disagree about Lucas being "reckless".. close friends have different ways of expressing fondness, let alone in different language and different culture than English/western, and different gender too (assuming all those angry SJWs are toxic fangirls of EXOLs).. living in multicultural community myself, I can tell that it is really hard to please everyone especially the watchers of different backgrounds, and even watchers of different genders and races often shocked to find what is considered as insulting or not to one another honestly I dislike the people who feel offended "on behalf" of celebrity, and feel the need to attack the celebrity's own friends bc "they want to protect their fave" and they think they understand their fave better than his own friends.. fans don't own the celebrity, and they certainly don't know the celebrity better than his own friends, at best stans are like obsessive strangers to the celebrity, but that doesn't mean much compared to the people who actually spend time and bonded with the celebrity in his own real life - *Baekhyun is a full grown adult male who is 7-8 years older than Lucas, and he is the leader of SuperM, if he feels offended and he thinks Lucas has overstepped with his jokes, he can speak for himself and easily call out Lucas, and surely Lucas will understand him as he respect him* the only thing that Lucas may be "reckless" about is probably he was unaware of the after translation effect : the English-language internet culture from watchers who has been appropriating and standardizing everything to must be following western standard of internet social justice, and *according to western standard of internet social justice, category fatphobia; any jokes in any language (after translated to English) regarding a person's weight is deemed unacceptable and deserves cancellation* sigh in the end real friends need to control how they interact with each other when filming, so in the future maybe it is better for them to have their interaction scripted, instead of giving genuine interaction of how they are, to avoid negative reaction from solo stans who will feel offended for a certain celebrity - I hope SuperM editor aware of this too as they should have cut that part, maybe SuperM manager and editor should hire consultant that is familiar with English-language internet culture

And also in the apology letter, Lucas said that he sorry for what he did, so if it untrue then he didn’t need to sorry. But because it’s true so he sorry to fans, his company, his members and that’s why he also need time to fix it.
