Great video! Over the next few days - turn that French dip into Italian Beef w/ MOTZ & HOTS (mozzarella & giardiniera) & do the same dipping! PRO TIP: when I have "leftover" beef, I set aside a bowl of Au Jus, add a big dose of garlic powder, black pepper & giardiniera to simmer & then to chill overnight.
I got the RODE but haven't used it in a video yet. Good job Hot Tommy! That is a chunk for sure! Nice slicer. Looks freaking awesome Tommy! Got to love the juice!
I remember growing up, French Dips were at all the dinners and neighborhood restaurants. Was quite the popular sandwich. Don't see it as much nowadays, but still enjoy them when I see them. Got to try this one, thanks Tommy!
That’s a helluva great looking Sammie!!! Love it HT!! Great job!! Def gotta put this on my roster for this week as now I’m drooling in my coffee🤣😅👏🏻🫶🏻❤️🔥💃🏼
HT!! That looks amazing as always! That roast is cooked to perfection! Better Than Bouillon ts a great resource, I use it often! I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving my friend... Stay awesome!
That is a fantastic French Dip Sandwich...damn! I will definitely be making this one. Loved how you used the Better Than Bouillon to make the dipping au jus...perfect idea. My girlfriend is allergic to the some of the "chemicals" they put in the already made store bought versions but she can use the Better Than Bouillon with no problem. Never thought of using that before but I guess we can make this more often than we do for sure. That meat was cooked to an internal temp perfection for this sandwich but you probably already knew that 😉
Thanks again Boss, looking great on that beef. Sad, I haven't had a truly great french dip in way way too long (the last ones I've had also had to be doused in Arby's and Horsey Sauce along with the Atlantic ocean flavored "au jus")...
I don't like to char/sear the ends of a roast. They are already going to get overcooked in the roasting process, no need to cook them further and then just throw away the dried out end pieces (along with the sear).

Looking really good. Do you have a link for the meat slicer?
