Full combos and their consequences have been a disaster for the Hotline Miami community. They have greatly increased the score of those of us who shoot for complete combos, but they have destabilized general playstyles, have made regular gameplay unfulfilling, have subjected Hotline players to indignities, have led to single-path level development, and have inflicted severe damage on the Steam Workshop. The continued development of full combo levels will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject Hotline players to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the Steam Workshop, it will probably lead to fewer level design varieties and playstyles, and it may lead to increased rage even for “gud” players.
Not going for full combos and playing normally is totally fine. You should only go for them if you have an interest in doing them and actually enjoy it.
@@KnocksSchiller I feel vindicated hearing someone else mention "single-path level development". Some levels are so linear I feel less like I'm playing Hotline Miami and more a top-down version of that scene from Oldboy.
That's crazy, man i hope snoop don't quit, he was almost there, i know the og can make it
this is damn funny considering that the level is not that difficult, nice job
real- that part in twst drive is a nightmare
Real
Should I feel better knowing I just play the game without trying to sweat for getting full combos and just playing the game normally?
