The way he’s handled this whole thing has show a lot about who he is as a person and I feel like he’s just handled it so well. Not getting mad at Bob for going a different direction and trying to remain positive and on good terms with everyone.

I'm really glad Wood is choosing to continue the podcast. I hope Bob pops up every once in a while.
The random thumbs up is actually a new MacOS feature. It recognizes gestures and adds animations accordingly. Check out the menubar on top, there should be a green camera icon where you can disable the automatic gesture recognition.
i had a feeling it had to be some automated thumbs up gesture detector
The vibe of your show is more than the brick wall. It's Bob, Wood, the friends, and the topics. The brick wall may still be there but the vibe will be different without Bob. But I'm excited this podcast isn't going away.

Once a quarter is still pushing it. It should have always been less consistently to make it feel like less, but to naturally make it a lot to talk about

@@mitchellrogers5130 tbf, Bob had an out the whole time. He just chose to use it now. In the episode in which they announce he's leaving, he talks about how he always told Wood that he didn't want to do it forever. So I guess he drew the line here at the end of the year. Still feels odd tho almost like something happened between them but who knows.

I think this podcast and most, shine when there is a conversation between friends talking about something interesting, I’m glad that the show is taking that direction, it makes me really happy that it would keep going, thank u 🥰💕
I grew up in South Korea and Nexon is EVERYTHING. They did Counter Strike, MapleStory, Mabinogi, and my middle school fave, Crazy Arcade (Bombs and Bubbles). They're such a massive company. Dave the Diver being called an indie and being related to them was bonkers.

Very happy. This podcast is very healthy and one of my favs. I hope Wood finds a way to do it that's super comfy with his schedules and keeps coming back.
Yet, still so much awkward passive aggression from Wood to Bob. Can't unsee a fallout in the future due to Wood constant putting in these subtleties of how he didn't want this revenue stream to end.
It's a shame we won't have Bob, but I'm very happy that you're continuing the show. People love hearing you guys talk, more than you may think. Even when you guys squander your remaining time without reaching the main Nintendo topic, it doesn't make your show any less enjoyable. You're just two normal guys, but you have wonderful personalities that can be easy to relate with. Of course, other RUclipsrs will want to be on your show, I'm not the only guy who thinks you two would make out to be wonderful friends.

Oh wow! I'm glad to hear Nontendo isn't ending. I still have a lot to catch up on. I still have to watch the episodes I missed. I missed out on those episodes, becuz I'm working and don't have a whole lot of time to watch youtube. I've been trying to keep up on watching this channel, Wood's, Kim's, and Bob's channels, and a bunch of other RUclips content creators that I have subscribed to. That's a lot to go through, in 1 or 2 days. Or if nobody is pumping out any episodes for a week or so, becuz they're, either, taking a break from RUclips or something happened to them or their channels, I try to go back to those channels, and try to watch all their videos, so I can get up to speed and on the same page as everyone.
Last week: I can't see this podcast working without Bob

Can we ask for the production team to set timestamps in the videos so we can skip through the bits and news. As for some of us I know we don't always have the hour or hour and a half to listen fully. Even though I personally would love to I want to get my news and fill of your podcast as much as possible. Unfortunately with my schedule I'm limited to skipping to a few but which can get frustrating when I miss context. I love you Bob we'll see you here and there. Woods journey is just beginning.

Bob, I looked into this and I can explain Cocoon. Playdead Studios made Limbo and Inside. The guys leading Playdead split up. The guy who stayed at Playdead made Somerville. The guy who left Playdead created this new studio and created Cocoon, their debut title.

Wood, early on when you were talking about the "vibe" I think the best wording would be , the tone and setting will be the same but it will be fueled by someone else's energy and perspectives, and there would've been a lot less confusion lol. But I look forward to seeing what happens!
Its deffently sad that Bob is leaving, I was in the first 1K subscribers before the first episode. I enjoyed every episode. I remember the first episode came out right after I took a Chemistry exam and the podcast made me feel a whole lot better! Suck but I'm excited to see where the podcast heads to.

It feels like you guys forget that you also have your podcast on Apple Podcasts (my preferred way of listening to it), and there’s a lot of stuff here that just doesn’t work in pure audio. I’m just sitting there like “OK I guess I’ll go now”

Arkane Lyon did not do Redfall, that was Arkane Austin, basically another studio. Arcade Lyon’s last game was Deathloop, which had pretty good reception.

I am happy Wood is continueing. But here the thing, I love Bob and I love Wood, that being said what I adored about the show was their dynamic. I liked that they argue and look at things from two different perspectives. I don't get the same vibe from Bob's podcast. That one's vibe is different. I really hope Wood keeps this aspect of the show. Kinda like the WAN show over at LTT, I like it when one of the hosts advocates for the devil and a whole argument happens.
Congrats. I am excited for that special episode when Bob returns as a guest, will be epic. But also excited to see new guests every episode, will be wicked.
I just wanted to say that Sean Murray didn't necessarily lie about No Man's Sky, there were several circumstances that effected the release of the game. Sony held a STRICT deadline with the release date, and the studio was actually involved in a flood where they lost MONTHS of work, and Sony would NOT give them any leeway or extra time to make the deadline. Hello Games is a great team full of people with REAL passion for games and just got dealt a bad hand with their first release. People need to let the launch go at this point, the game is SO GOOD now and every update released has been completely free.
I want Jordan Fringe to be a reoccurring co-host. I know he's prob pretty busy with his own YT career but it was such a nice surprise to find out he's a part of this circle!
You should definitely have Will cohost an episode.

I'm glad you're keeping the podcast and the idea of a different co-host each week is quite appealing.
May I offered some suggestions? Maybe you could invite after all the obvious choices some out of left field people, like journalists that sometimes delve into games and could bring some new perspectives to the discussions. I'm thinking of people like Jon Irwin, Chris Schilling, Simon Parkin, Kiwi talkz, people that are not as well known but could bring another depth.
Anyway, I'm happy for you and for us.
The studio making Blade are not the guys who made Redfall. The studio made Dishonoured and Deathloop, both amazing.
Not sure if anyone else has answered this already but the thumbs and fireworks are from a macOS thing. It’s called reactions and might be able to do me turned off through FaceTime or something

The idea of Wood doing a gaming Late Night talk show is so infinitely better as a concept.
The only thing RUclips has more of than ads is white guys talking about Nintendo (of which I am one).
A show built like a 20-30 minute version of Late Night with Conan O'Brian, focused around gaming/nerd stuff, hosted by Wood... That is what you should do, man. Don't get cold feet, do it!
You’re so right, you guys totally have created a brand. It’s so awesome this project has been so successful and that it has helped your mental health struggles, Wood. I’m really excited for the future of the show and I hope Bob agrees to be on it often enough 😜
Its hard to balance the announcements and awards because there is a large amount of people that literally only tune in to see the announcements and "don't care about the awards". Otherwise you get reception similar to the Oscars where no one really tunes in and people just say they don't care and that the awards are a joke. Awards shows the last couple of years are pretty disliked by a lot of people, having announcements and trailers adds more to the event. Now its like 60% announcements and 40% awards, which should be closer to 50/50 or even leaning towards the awards, but it should not be heavily leaning towards the awards because you'll just get people complaining how its a slog fest for speeches. Its a hard balance to tackle because no matter what they do, more people would complain than appreciate the good in the show.
I do think that they need to enforce that the award presenters (IE CHRISTOPHER JUDGE) needs to chill out and go straight into announcing the winner, and not take 5 minutes to blabber on, have a fun remark and move on.
Excited for the podcast to be continuing!!! Would love an episode on Nintendo cosplays. Get Li Kovacs for that! I have like zero following but would love to talk about it 😂

The thumb up and fireworks is a MAC thing. You can disable it. When you’re recording a face time icon appears on the top bar. Click on it and disable reactions. It was one of the new features in the Sonoma update.

Blade is being developed by Arkane Lyon which is the studio in France. They did not develop Redfall. That was Arkane Austin located in Texas. Arkane Lyon developed Deathloop.

The game awards were pretty disrespectful to the people in the industry who really matter. They gave celeb cameos more time than even the game of the year winners. Sad.

I love Eowna, Jordan from A Bit More Jordan (and all the SwitchWatch guys), and the SwitchUp guys are also all solid. I think they're all outside the USA though, haha. Plus the SpawnWave people. Those are my go-tos for Switch content! There's Miss Bubbles, and for non-Nintendo content I watch Kanzalone and Raptor for PC Gaming.
The Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi games in Japan are called Sparking. So it is just synchronizing it with the Japanese title.
