Japan is right up there as one of my favourite countries that I've been to so far! The people, food, and lifestyle are incredible. But visiting at Christmas made it twice as good! Your videos are so well edited I love them!!!!! The fact that they eat KFC on Christmas Day is so damn funny lol 😂😂😂😂 I wouldn’t even want to eat it on a regular day lmao 🤣
This video was cool and helpful. I’m planning a Christmas trip to Japan, do you have any advice? I’m Surprised it doesn’t look like shops and restaurants shut down as it looks very busy.
I'm glad you liked it! It was extremely busy, but 99% of places were still open. I have some resources on my website which may help you out with the planning 🙏🏽
Looking forward to the Pokemon café video 🤩 As for the tax free surprise: this is common practice in plenty of countries (including Korea). As far as big stores or shopping centres are concerned, you can ask for the tourist tax free discount, show your passport and that's it: tax free shopping. Now I'm not sure it's valid if you have a resident's visa in Korea, but you can ask. As for tax free shopping in Europe, you keep all your shopping receipts and get the refund at the airport. Some few stores do the tax refund on the spot, but there are really few... in Belgium, you'll frequently see stickers on stores saying "tax free for tourists" 😉 Thanks for this... it seems that Japan has a very small relationship with Christmas.
