I’m glad you don’t use all the fancy gadgets. It’s much more accessible to people and you still manage to create beautiful cards!
Genius use for the opal foil! Love the way it shines but doesn’t take away from the paper at all!

I must admit I find some of those textured handmade papers a bit of a challenge to know what to do with. Not anymore 😉 Even though I would’ve loved to see the doily stencil turned into a card, this was a stunner of a card. That opal foil, that paper doily and those other elements all made a very striking card. You’re so clever Natasha 😃🩷

Really pretty card. I have torn mat layers from handmade papers for little elements…I never thought to use a whole piece or to foil on it. TYFS!
Lovely card,I have never seen that type of paste,also never relised Tombo green was sticky,, the foiling looked amazing. I adore handmade papers,I eatched some young girls in Vietnam make rice paper I was fascinated. Thank you for snother great video.

Ps. Love how you used a round punch to make a ticket shape. Didn't think of that.as you have used a paper punch for postage style edges.. 72 I don't think out of the box too far. Lol thanks again.

I have recently been in Whaganui(North Island nz) and purchased some paper made of flax. Had tried stamping on it. Ok but not good. This looks likes a good idea to try. Thanks.

I find some of my papers are pretty bumpy and uneven and don't stick we'll to the base. I'll give it another try as this is a good project. Thanks!
I have dye cut banana paper before which is thinner but has thicker pieces in the paper and I like to use it as a torn edge layer that’s how I like to use those types of handmade papers just as a mat layer with a torn edge
I have the hardest time using my textured papers because I suspect I am a bit of a hoarder with them. Lol. This is such a great video showing great techniques for them and a beautiful card at the end. What did you make from the wonky chevron background?

I've successfully die cut simple shapes from this sort of paper, but I wouldn't try a detailed die.
Beautiful cards, is that glue better than the ranger you were using?
This is a special glue that stays tacky to take the foiling. You can use this type of glue to use your stamps and then foil the images too.

How to add white pen to add shine to cards
how would you do it with stamps?
You can buy a tacky glue stamp pad or just put this glue onto a little sponge and add to your stamp. Let it dry to tacky and then foil the image.

@@jean9919 I have the essential glue pad with a small bottle of glue, would that work?
@@pattyfromherz9965 give it a go patty … just leave it to dry enough to get tacky and make sure you wash your stamp quickly afterwards. Best wishes.
