I think, you should do crop rotation, but instead 3 blocks of crops make 4 of them. 1 will be allways for corn and then 3 other you would keep in standart rotation, just as til now :-) That should ensure you enough corn for 400-500 pigs (every 2nd year you woud have half of the fields covered with corn)
I know this is a old video but you can always sell your straw at the bio gas then that way you get money and slurry and the the prices is better at the bio gas than the barn
Yes, I've seen it done for corn chaff and whole crop chaff as well, generally that's put on the bottom part of the clamp and the grass silage over the top. The grass silage is heavier and helps to squash more air out of the other silage, thus giving a better overall clamp. Not everyone likes to mix them together though as the nutritional values of the two silages are different and if they're mixed it's harder to accurately feed your cows.

For your silage harvest you could set courseplay up for some of your bigger fields so you do not need to manually drive trailers of chaff to the bga.

you can use straw from barley/wheat to make sillage. its a special header from fourage harvester
You get a higher yield from corn silage, also it's a different type of silage in real life, not quite as nutritious as the corn silage
