Really wish I'd have found this during the pandemic but hindsight is 20/20 (lol), I'm just so happy I've discovered this now! It's made my Monday significantly better! :))
GOD BLESS THEM🙌🏽💕🙏🏾A truly uplifting blessing in this time we're all in!!! Praying God continues to heal the world and shifts the atmosphere on this place🙌🏽💕🙏🏾!!! You are all blessed and stay in God and turn to Him if you haven't already🙌🏽💕🙏🏾!!! Love to all my siblings in Christ💗💗!!! GOD BE WITH AND GOD BLESS ALL🙌🏽💕🙏🏾!!!
I have to comment again thanking all that produced that beautiful song. As a front line team working on the virus, it is sweet on the ears, eyes and soul to watch this performance. Thank you again, it reminds me of our job and not stopping.
Thank you so much. That means everything to us. Thank you for all that you are doing out there, and we are so glad that this brought you a bit of positivity to your life!
@@bikfoot The calls and screams for help on the pandemic do not go unheard. I answer them and tell them my promise they will not be left behind. I tell them to listen to these beautiful words as I do. When I am tired, I listen to this song and I have to do my job. THANK YOU and all that incredible talent.
Great cover of the original. I'm proud to say the Burke kids are from my home town of Chicago, along with Sam Cooke, Benny Goodman, Nils Lofgren, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Mavis Staples (of The Staples Singers), Cheap Trick, Quincy Jones, Oscar Brown Jr, Mahalia Jackson, John Prine, Jennifer Hudson, Curtis Mayfield, Bo Diddley, Chaka Khan, Paul Butterfield (Blues Band), Nat King Cole, The Smashing Pumpkins, Minnie Ripperton, Ramsey Lewis, Gene Krupa, Chicago, Gene Chandler, Richard Marx, Herbie Hancock, Styx, Tom Paxton, Liz Phair, Chance the Rapper, Lou Rawls, Dinah Washington, Koko Taylor, The Chi-Lites, Wilco, Jody Watley, Varuca Salt, and many more. Oh...and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the greatest band in the U.S. of A.
gave me douche chills, they needed to not list locations, and not make it a video, people that look like this are end of human society. Rather listen to original version than look at all these lames in this vid.
I’ve watched this video several times and just realized the saxophone player also sings!!! Amazing video!! Don’t wait for the next pandemic to make more music!!
Nice cover, talented folks…I was about 8 years old when this song dropped, I remember hearing it in the morning while on my way to school… but mostly it confirms my belief that the greatest era for talent in pop, soul, R&B and rock was the late sixties through the seventies. They had real talent, compared to today’s artists, while talented really don’t compare.
Ms. Ramey really nails her part. As James Taylor would say, "Smoother than a gravy sandwich". Would pay to see her perform..if there ever are live shows again.
On a day when I can reflect on developments in this country that worry me - at least as much as Covid has and does - I turned again to your beautiful video to soak up its joy. Again, and always, Thank you.
Very very well done y'all! 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤ spread the love and compassion in our country is what we so need right now! God bless each and everyone of you for a job so well done indeed!
Always been one of my all time favorite songs! You brought tears of joy to my eyes! BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! I absolutely LOVE THIS RENDITION!!! 💯🥰 NAILED IT!!!
Very humbling to be here a year later listening to this beautifully performed song again. As a front line science and medical team on causation of the pandemic, it has been hell to see what politics and special interests have created. As a typical first responder I shed my tears privately while doing a job that will cost my life as it has so many others during incredible trying times. Being a quadruple science professional at the molecular level, I never thought I would diagnose my own dying while our team hurried to get it done. My music library I listen to inspires me and reminds me to do my job as others do. Thank you for the beautiful music and for sharing with the world. We have found the missing mechanisms of interaction and mechanisms of action. All life will be represented.
Talk about creativity, this needs to go viral. I didn't think anything good could come out of this covid-19 nightmare that we all enduring, was I wrong? Special shout out to the first female singer, Lisa Ramey, and all the other musicians. They absolutely owned it!
great job on a classic song
This is one of my all time favorite songs. You guys really knocked it out of the park!
Came out Spring 1970. And it's still Spring fresh.
Years after seeing this for the first time i still find such joy in hearing the great work by Peter Fand and his friends.
I continue to watch this anytime I need a reminder of hope. Thank you all.
Blew me away. Giving life back to a great song.
Bravo! This rendition touched my happy place. I’m sure you’ve all done the Five Stair Steps proud. Thank you for lifting me up. Peace. Joy. Health.

Amen!!!! Takes me straight back to the 90’s and hearing a clip on “boyz in da hood” ok, I know 😂 goosebumps 👌🏾👌🏼👌🏽
