    Beautiful Macedonian song... Eleno mome (Elena girl). It's nice to see a Greek playing our song. Well done!

    Actualy, he says the name in Bulgarian.
    The region of Macedonia has Greeks, Bulgarians and Albanians.

    @ackovski Cool
    For the record though, the clarinet player himself states that the name is Slavic, i.e. Slavic-Macedonian.

    Ok, I stand corrected, so you speak a Slavic dialect, very similar though not identical to Bulgarian.
    The term "Macedonian" is still misleading though.
    The Slavs are hardly the entire population of the region of Macedonia, and certainly not the first to live there.

    Even the Greek says the name of the song in Macedonian (not Greek) because he knows where that song originates from... Macedonia.

    True... there are no pure antic Macedonians long time ago. If someone said so... he is wrong. Nowadays population in the region of Macedonia is a mixture of many civilizations that were passing by and living in this region. And the fact that the antic Macedonians were considered Barbarians by the Hellenes is the thing you dislike. And that proves they were not Greek at all.
    I think now you have the answer to your reply of what you meant to say with the Slavic thing,

    It's in my language and it is not Bulgarian. Yes, both languages are similar, but not the same. All the songs that the Bulgarians consider their traditional are in fact our Macedonian and most of the words in them are unknown for the Bulgarians... comparing to us, we use those words in everyday talking. I will try to find an example and write again... "Kalino mome" means "pomegranate girl"... Bulgarians would say NAR girl... their word for pomegranate.
