BUT, now I understand the part where he went to the spot to pray a haha. He prayed for her to heal and in exchange he turned into a rat which she kept by her side. He wanted her to be happy (hence the lyrics) and is happy for her to find a guy and live happily ever after. This MV is sad indeed :(

Now theres a video of unrequited love! The guy loves her, never gets her, gives up his life to save her, and then has to watch her marry someone else.. and it doesnt even have a soppy happy ending. Truly, one of the best videos I've watched in a long long time :)
