It totally goes by so fast. My son is 12yrs old and he still likes me to put out his elf, as well as milk and cookies for Santa! I'm sure Valentina will as well!
It does go very fast, and you will treasure both the memories and evolving traditions. This year, my 18 year old son left cookies and milk for Santa! ❤

Don’t worry that some traditions may end as she grows up….this grandmother makes sure that her college junior and high school junior granddaughters still get a letter from Santa and their Elves from the North Pole every year!
